cooking ketamine (please help)

how should i cook a 5ml vial of keatmine.
last time i cooked it i boiled water in a pan and placed a plate over top with the liquid ketamine on the plate.The method worked but when the ketamine is done shouldnt it be in crystal form? mine turned out like powder which is alot different than the ketamine i have bought on the streets that turns into powder once i have crushed it up. I got high so i did something right but im pretty sure it should of turned out different.
if you can please include steps.

i should be crystals. place the plateover it. id recommend cooking 25mL at a time. cook it for about 25-30 mins, ensure theyre are no water bubbles. then scrape it up and its done. trust me, ive done this bout 5 times in the past two weeks and have gotten good results everytime
 
When you do small amounts (of anything) it's gonna be spread so thinly that when you scrape it off it ends all powdery. It has no affect on potency.
 
I would always cook the 100mg/10ml vials and just spread the liquid around the plate, place it over a boiling pot, make sure not to over cook it and wait until its dry. Scrape up the small crystals which comes out looking like powder. Whatever it look like doesn't affect the potency.
