Hi all - I scored and had a hit through IV all was ok. I went back for another and the gear is really thick - like you get on the foil almost. I abandoned it as it looked too dodgy to inject. I know the batch is OK as like I said I had a hit off it already.

What do you think caused the thickness to occur on the second cook? Maybe not enough Vit C ? though I did add more and a bit more water. no luck. I have had this happen once before but I was so wasted I didn't give it a second thought.

Any pointers greatly appreciated.
 
Any ideas? I can only think I didnt add enough Vit C or overheated it??? Been using for 20 odd years so have a decent idea of things. I am confused by this is all :P
 
Mix water and vit c seperately and draw up through a filter. Use the filtered vit c solution to work with your dope. You only need it if your dope is a freebase and won't dissolve in water alone.

You could be overdoing the vit c too
 
Thanks Tacodude. It is possible I added too much Vit C actually..... I really appreciate your reply mate.
 
Oh and making the water and Vit C separate is a good idea. Why have I never thought of that? :P
