Yes. It should certainly lighten your solution's color. I'm not sure how much activated charcoal you'd have to use or if it'll affect the active ingredient in any way.

no activated charcoal wont really give u what u want....

heres what you have to do..

1. Add a few grams of tar to enough water to make it a solution that isnt thick. Enough to make it a nice liquid. or at least a syrup.

2. Add ammonia to ph 9.

3. Add about 25ml of Chloroform. Mix the whole thing really well for a few minutes.

4. Drain out the Chloroform, and do it again with another 15ml of Chloroform.

5. Evaporate the chloroform on low low low heat. Then you will be left with pure Heroin Freebase.

6. Take the heroin freebase. Add it to a 10% Hydrochloric acid solution. When all the heroin dissolves. Evap on low heat and the powder that is left is a salt Heroin Hydrochloride. Should be as pure as uve ever seen.

7. Scrape up and bag the powder for a rainy day.

It's not acetylated opium. Crude morphine and shoddy filtering are used, and tar is the end result. If it was just acetylated morphine, much higher concentrations of other opiate alkaloids would be present in tar.

It is in fact, essentially acetylated opium.
It has heroin in it, but it has acetylcodeine, MAM, and all the products that actually work in the negative to make your high less pleasant like noscapine and papaverine. Since most opium has about 1% (or more) codeine in it, if you assume it all gets converted into acetylcodeine (which is highly unlikely because if they were such good chemists to begin with, they would have cleaned up the product more). The 10% figure is basically a pipe dream and that comes from that same "ideal opium" that has 50% morphine in it.

What 10% figure?

I always thought that at best, opium's morphine content was in the very low 2 digit figures(10-13% ). I'm not sure about the codeine content. I'm willing to believe you on that.

hey paradoxcycle give me a lil hand if u want to can u pm me how to turn the tar to powder ??

Why bother? Just cook it up like you would for an IV shot and then put it into a nose spray bottle. That is going to be a hell of a lot easier than trying to convert tar into powder, if it is even possible. This question has been asked a million times and I don't rememebr anybody ever saying that it was possible w/o doing a shitload of work and having a pretty advanced knowledge of chemistry. Unless, you just cut the shit out of it, but by the time you got it powdery enough to snort it would be cut down to like 3% pure and you would have to snort a Tony Montana pile to get high.

TO EVERYONE THAT WANTS TO KNOW WHAT BLACK TAR HEROIN IS...

I dont believe tar is simply acetylated opium...

here is what i believe and have figured over the years through chemistry studies and my own work.... i think in mexico they do homebake... which means taking morphine from pills. Extracting it and then Using acetic anhydride and baking it. Then they EXCLUDE THE CLEANUP.... and when its not cleaned u get black tar. Which is very strong heroin. just not as clean, but it is probably at least 60% heroin, 20-30% morphine and some intermediates like MAM.

Any questions ill be glad to answer

so that automatically means all of the heroin is from that source?

And whos to say they dont extract the morphine and then do what i said above? I guess u will know when u have really strong tar or weak tar which source u got it from

Well, both of us are just speculating. We're not close to the Mexican heroin source, are we?

Like I said before, it was my understanding that tar is crude morphine that has been acetylated. Whether the morphine's source is opium, or a crude extract like homebake, I don't know. I'd lean towards opium though.

if it was acetylated opium, then it couldnt possibly be worth buying, i mean opium is 10% maximum morphine content right? And injecting the amounts of codeine would probably make for an uncomfortable experience.

What kind of chemistry do you study anyway?

how about some logic 101, a high volume drug export business owner is clearly not going buy to convert mass quantities of morphine to dope and then clean it up... How the fuck did you come to that conclusion Doc??

I'm gonna go with assumption that the majority of black tar heroin is extracted from poppy plants which is the economically reasonable assumption to make.

There are some real fuck-0s on this board.... ;)

here is the most reliable way, convert the money you spend on tar to a plane ticket to new york and get some real powder

It is not acetylated opium, not by a long shot. Opuium has never had a content for more than 30% morphine, and that is extremely rare, the average being 10% and in many gorwing areas of the world like Afghnasitant it is usually around 7%.

Let us assume for the sake of this discussion that it does regularly have 30%, let us say 50%...then why does Tar sometimes have a purity of 80 to 85%?

Look at Homebaked, look at the process and look at the final product and you will have most of your answers...ignoring the O-demeth,etc and concentrating on overall synth.

As for the topic of the thread...I have repeatedly posted the process here, and elsewhere, over the years. It is extremely simple and will offer you a very, very light amber powder with extremely high purity. The powder though must be kept very, very dry or will reconvert to Tar.

You can decolorise the product as well and get a white powder , and it will also boost overall purity by up to 10% but it is not really worthwhile for the effort involved.

Before people begin asking me to repost it, please, it is here and can be found by looking.

Are you referring to yourself?

And I'm an econ major, so don't try to pretend you know the market because you know who Friedman is. You're talking totally out your ass.

Sorry, you're incorrect. Tar, even though it is often reported as 98% pure lethal heroin is never, according to my own analysis and forensic literature, anywhere near that level of heroin. It's almost always, for good stuff anyway, in the neighborhood of 30 - 40 % heroin. This is exactly what you would expect for acetylated opium as the best opium has, at most 50 % morphine (however, most is more in the 10 %-40 % range), and the methods used by the Mexican chemists that make tar in no way approach the levels reached by using the Thiboumery and Mohr Process (TMP) or the Robertson and Gregory Process (RGP).

Their heroin conversion is also not efficient and there is at least 10% (of the initial percentage of) remaining morphine as well as 3-MAM and 6-MAM (which occur in even the best chemists work without cleanup); but the giveaway that they start with opium and them acetylate it is the ratios of the sum of codeine plus 3-acetylcodeine, which are equal to 10 % of the sum of the heroin, MAM and free morphine. This is the number you get in nature and suggests that no cleanup was attempted a priori. There also is about 20 % noscapine and derivatives and 20% papaverine and derivatives, again supporting use of straight opium.

Looks like you forgot to switch accounts before replying.

if your desperate to turn tar into powder (tar is all i can get too here in dallas)
take your tar dissolve it with water on a plate. crush up tylenol p.m as little or as much as you want then spread the powder over the liquid.
get a spoon, mix, and let dry. its called "cheese" and this method started here in dallas..
the less powder you use, the more potent the final product is
i know people laugh at the word "cheese" but if you do it right and use a small amount of powder you can get potent snortable heroin powder.

Why tylenol PM? Why not something inert?
