Contradicatory effects on the libido from SSRIs

I haven't taken SSRI's in 3 years. I was only on them for 6-12 months. The other reports of loss of libido just don't seem to match up with mine. I have absolutely no interest in females now, yet I achieve an orgasm quickly enough to be classified as PE. I've taken Wellbutrin along with just about everything else under the sun with no luck. It's not that I'm not aroused, but I just have no motivation to persue a relationship ever since I was on SSRIs. I have trouble with motivation in all aspects, but amphetamines or DRI's usually counteract this. It doesn't touch my motivation for sex though. Has anyone else experienced this type of loss of libido after SSRIs? I have taken countless other drugs so I'm not 100% sure this is what is the cause, but I am over 95% sure as it started once I took SSRIs. I've slept with people since, but it was always like I was just going through the motions and wasn't enjoying it. Not to mention I would cum almost immediately. It's a hard subject to talk about but I really need to know if anyone else has had this strange combo of lasting side effects from SSRIs.

I had spontaneous orgasms and similar tingly/twitchy feelings while on lexapro, but it made it harder to get them from sexual acts. There were sexual side effects - I had some loss in genital sensitivity and some issues getting aroused (with wetness), both physical problems. But I didn't notice many mental changes, like there wasn't any decrease in sexual thoughts or emotions during sex, it was just harder to get satisfied physically. The physical side effects went away about three weeks after I stopped taking it. I kind of miss the first side effect 8) but I don't think it's worth taking just for that.

I don't know what's a SSRI.. all I know is I last way longer on some drugs

SSRI's (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) are antidepressant meds, prescibed for depression, panic disorder, social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder etc.

To the OP, I created a thread about my total loss of sex drive due to SSRI's. It's a few threads below this. I have definitely had lasting side effects from SSRI's and they especially seem to affect my sex drive. Not only that though, I've had no interest in relationsips on them either and it does seem to last for quite some time after stopping using them. So you're definitely not the only one experiencing this. Luckily you still seem to have your sex drive unaffected, I wasn't that lucky.
