I was addicted to painkillers, mostly Vicodin, for about 4 years straight. I was taking around 150 mg of hydro a day on average. Anyways, I quit CT about 2 months ago and all my WD symptoms are gone and 85% of the paws is gone. Only a little fatigue after a long day, and a little depression every few days. But one thing that hasn't gotten better at all is the night sweats. I get them every night and it's pretty bad. It's even worse when I drink alcohol. I didn't use to get them before taking pain pills, so I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or of it will eventually go away. Thanks for the help.

Everyone has their "one symptom" that tends to linger in them particularly, a while after the major detox and withdrawals are over. That might be what it is for you and it could take another month or so to go away.

The cold sweats always stayed with me long after everything else went away too. For some people it's RLS, others it's leg pain, etc.

Hang in there. If you can get a hold of some clonidine it will help a lot.
