Constipation

take magnesium - totally helped me, you can even buy magnesium citrate liquid at the pharmacy and may even get the runs
 
Oh god this is quite the thread. I must say that on average I have a bm about every 3 days. no more no less. If it werent for stool softeners and certain cereals, it would be much longer than that.:! Oxycontin is a real bitch. but when you have chronic pain, it comes with the territory...oh the pain....:X
 
I'm usually okay when I use heroin but when i got clean for like 2 months on suboxone, I literally went 9 days without shitting, had to drink magnesium sulfate and then went another seven days before having to do the same thing (mind you, the magnesium sulfate was not my first option--I tried dulcolax, colace, suppositories...even the dreaded enema and none worked). The doc dropped me from 8 mg to 4mg which I think contributed to my relapse shortly after.
 
rippin ya asshole apart with a 11day old nugget is so pleasurable! I cant wait until next week - the 2nd episode is due!
 
well thank god you dont have a hereditary colon toxin like mine, i get it without beeing on any opiate or anything :(
fyi, my mom had to morphine pills, had to stop, she couldnt go through with the fact that she was shitting logs the size of her hand, witch hurt.
 
suboxone is the worst for this, i've been on it over a year now and i've been stuffed up the whole time with the regular time being 7 days before i can go. i try not to take laxatives more than 1-2 times a week because i've been addicted to them before (eating disorder years) and that was NOT a pretty picture either. also i need to take at least 4-5 when i DO so the side effects are AWFUL, feels like i have the flu for a couple of hours til i shit for an hour and then it's over with for the week.
