Frankly, in opposition to common belief, you can still get back to a full agonist (like oxy, heroin etc) HIGH, even after taking sub. The problem is you would have to take mega doses to get there, and doing anything right after you take sub, is going to mean you will need like 6x your regular opiate dose. As one person has said, waiting 24 hours makes it come thru easier, tho even at 24 hours, you are still looking at having to take a larger dose. Sometimes much larger. It also depends on what you are using, very strong opiates such as oxymorphone or very strong heroin can also break thru sub. Why bother. If you must, just wait. If you are talking about precipitated WD, the answer is NO. Its the other way around, you would get precipitated WD only after regular opiates are taken and then you try to take sub. That can be really really bad, but thankfully lasts about 90 minutes. Mite be the worst 90 minutes of your life tho. When you do that, the suboxone (which may be the strongest opioid in some ways), strips the regular opiate molecules off of your receptors thus causing severe symptoms. Scary, happened to me twice. I thought I gave it enough time and was wrong.
