Heroin confused about how much heat to cook my dope

My .00002 cents- Out west, we only have tar, powdered H is something you'll only see in movies. If you don't heat the tar (at least what i get), you will be left with a chunk of it in your water in the spoon, with a slight brown/amber color floating around it. Not saying i cook the shit out of my dope, but if I didnt apply heat, the vast majority of it would be still be a solid mass, which I aint EVEN about to try and shoot, no matter what the filtering process is. And seeing as I pay for this shit and I'm not about to throw 90% of it away, applying heat must happen.

I agree when I lived on the west coast and did tar I had to heat it. I l thought yo had to cook all dope until I learned here that you didn't need to. I live in chi now and have been extremely fortunate to find some good raw dope.well that's what they call it.its not powder like you normally get here its hard brownish rocks.I crush it to powder put it in my can and add cold water and stir works great.now if I can find veins id be set.

Everyone overlooks scramble like we get a lot of the time in baltimore- that shit has to be cooked. For raw #4 like you get most places though i agree, no heat

If you don't need to cook raw dope, then why cook raw dope mixed with some nasty cuts? Just do a cold shot and filter that nasty cut out. Yes, when looking at the solution and all the stuff at the bottom you will think that you are not getting the most out of your dope, but that stuff doesn't dissolve for a reason. Just because the dope is mixed with more cut doesn't make the actual heroin content anything other than heroin hcl which is still soluble in water at room temperature. If scramble is heroin mixed with some other sedatives, and you really want those sedatives and cuts in you, then why not do a cold shot, and then eat what is left in the spoon? That might sound weird or nasty, but that's gotta be safer than heating it and putting it into your veins.

Hmmm....something must happen to it when it crosses from Arizona to Utah, because I've never had to cook my tar. Whether it's gooey tar or hard tar, it always dissolves completely, and relatively quickly. When I first started using, the person who taught me used to cook it, so I did for the first few times, then found out cold is better. I don't really know how to explain it other than the cold shot "feels cleaner" than one that has been heated.

I guess that's my long version of - no need to cook your dope.

Yeah it's really not necesairy To cook tar. Just leave it in the cooker for about twenty minutes and it dissolves. You'll still have to then stir it for a few minutes, but lt draws up way easier, and the consistency of the solution is a lot easier to deal with compared to when you add heat (which still takes time). It is a pain though, especially when your sick and have to wait so long to prep a shot. It's really not like east coast powder where you can jump in a starbucks and fix in a second.

Im sorry but in the sake of HR: bs. While it is routinely stated by the DEA that the NE has the "most pure" dope in the country (specifically NYC/NJ if i remember correctly, probably because its such a huge city with competitors and access to markets, followed by Philly), especially in relative terms to west coast "tar", street levels are no where near that amount.

It is foolhardy to let people think they have dope of near 90% purity, somehow giving the idea that its "not bad b/c its pure y0!" (which even if it WERE 90% pure thats still 10% of bullshit cut, 1/10 of the weight of dope youd shoot would STILL not be dope).

Unless youre in the fields in Afghanistan youre not getting "78-88%% pure". Even getting an oz its probably no where upwards of 50%. I'd wager that average street bags are in fact lower than 20%, at best, even in Philly/Camden/Paterson/Yonkers/etc. I've had stamps from all of these places, boston too. I wouldn't have called even the best of the best STAMP 88% pure. Shit, even when i bought some weight, i wasn't deluded in thinking it was near 78%...

If its true that what doesnt dissolve isn't dope, i need a new connect, 90% of what i drop in wont dissolve, no matter how long I wait. And let's face it, this is heroin, not weed. I am not even about to lose out on my shit, I'm addicted (that's why i started shooting in the first place, smoking it started to get expensive) Everyone else i know cooks it, shit, 9 out of 10 that i know that do this shit won't even filter it through cotton, they just suck it up and slam it. In that sense, bluelight has taught me something at least. I'm not doing this dope because i think it's good for my health. I honestly prefer to IV dilauded, but seeing as my connect for those shoots them as well, the script runs out REAL fast. (I've started to back filter my dilauded now, thank you BL).
