I am going to get 72 mg of concerta soon and I read about the way to get rid of the ER mechanism. So im wondering is the outside of the pill the only ER part? Is the powder on the inside also ER like vyvanse? And also will 72 mg at once be safe if I take off the casing? I REPEAT WITHOUT THE CASING. Sorry bout that just not really sure how much of a difference it. makes and I dont want to die haha.

i don't have any personal experience with methylphenidate but I believe 72 mg is the maximum daily dose. Unless you have a high tolerance I don't think you should take that much at once maybe a quarter of it to be safe. It really depends on your tolerance and the effects you want to get from it.

As for crushing/stripping to defeat the ER, it should work unless the makers of the pill have made it non crushable or bonded the drug to the ER delivery mechanism.

Also vyvanse is not really ER as much as it is a pro drug.

Well, what swim normally does is suck off the outer coating and slice the pill in half so you have a white thing and gray piece. Toss the gray piece. Now take an exacto and carefully peel the waxy shit (you'll see what I'm talking about). Now crush up the white stuff, put it on the spoon. Add water and hold a lighter under the spoon until there isn't any pill left. Then wait until it cools down and snort it. You can also plug the liquid, hold it under your tongue, or you can just swallow the liquid.

Vyvanse is lisdexamphetmine, a prodrug that the body then converts into the active drug, dexamphetmine, this process accounts for the long duration. Concerta is methylphenidate ER.

if you want the absolute easiest way to do it. keep the entire pill under your tongue for 30 minutes. you'll be left with the grey piece someone mentioned and the waxy shit under your tongue. spit that out. done deal.

these ones are really annoying to use, I would start by removing the outer layer and setting it aside(don't throw it out!) cut the pill in half, there should be a white and grey side, the white is the active powder. put the white part in some water and let it dissolve, it may take a while. You can use the liquid sublingualy,orally,rectally or through the nose by moistening a cotton ball and leaving it in the nose for a bit.
