Concerta Question (already used search). Help ASAP please.

be nice to me, im new here, and i have been browsing the boards for a while. i did a search on concerta here,and felt i needed a thread for my questions. and took some of my brothers. i scraped off the outer coating, cut it in half, and took the tan/white part without grinding it up. he has 36 mg ones, and i swallowed one full (without peeling it), and it had no effect. so then i peeled one, ate it around 3 30 pm today, and got a nice buzz off of it. i then took another one (peeled), at 6, and its 8 30 now, still feeling pretty buzzed. now, is this what an adderall high would feel like, because ive never taken but i plan to. also, how long will i be buzzed for, and how long before i could go to sleep. any help is appreciated.
*edit* after thinking about it, i have a few other questions too. should i expect a crash like speed? how will i feel tomorrow, sketchy? is it addicting like adderall or any other form of speed?
ive researched a lot but i am inexperienced with this and am just looking for some help asap to comfort me before i go to bed. thanks

Concerta/methylphenidate doesn't feel THAT much like amphetamine. They are both stimulants, and will make you feel 'buzzed', but Adderall and the like are more euphoric, far stronger of a stimulant, and have a significant body buzz/high. Adderall also last at least 4 hours longer than methylphenidate -- though this is not the case if you have concerta, which is time release (ritalin lasts about an hour or two). Most people, but not all, prefer adderall over concerta/ritalin. And they work in different ways in your brain, so you would expect to feel these differences.
All stimulants have addictive potential, and ritalin is included. It is probably not quite as addictive as amphetamine or methamphetamine, however.
There is less of a crash with methylphenidate, but I find that it leaves me with a headache. Since you took a time release form you should come down fairly gradually and gently, and I don't think you'll be feeling TOO shitty tomororw. But, all stimulants have some sort of a 'comedown', so expect to feel a bit under the weather.
 
thanks, that helped. i had an intense headache and trouble sleeping but thats about it. other than that i feel fine today.
