Concerta=IR Ritalin?

so im prescribed concerta, the shittiest stim ever, and i was wondering if the amount of ritalin in concerta, equals that same amount of IR Ritalin. For example, does the 36mg Concerta contain 36mg IR Ritalin, if i were to break open the pill, scrape the wax, etc.,etc.

No. The amount of methylphenidate in a 36mg tablet is much higher than that the equivalent dose of ritalin.

That is the reason for the occasional thread to which someone says "I crushed two concerta tablets and swallowed the powder, and I feel like I am going to die."

How the hell did you get Concerta to be "snortable". It's extremely difficult to crush these things and the methylphenidate is protected by a solid "sponge-like" mechanism.

Take the coating off with a wet paper towel, cut lengthwise with a razor blade, then peel the plastic off.

Methylphenidate is an awful high, and I only find it useful in pharma-speedballs. That is how to remove the time release though.

Snorting ritalin and coke aren't that similar in my opinion. I'd actually probably snort methylphenidate since the coke around here is so cut to shit. I am not a stimulant person but ritalin is much more enjoyable to me.

And yeah, you can snort a concerta if you work like a motherfucker at it. I've only done it once or twice, but I would say it is the hardest pill I've personally ever abused.

the drug overcoat dissolves within one hour, providing an initial dose of methylphenidate.

-use a knife and remove the layer and eat it.
-cut the pill in half so you have 2 sides, one white and the other is grey.
-cut the pill in half again the exposed part should be facing the bottom when you cut it.
-using a knife or something with a sharp end, scrape the powder and make sure you don't scrape the outer plastic.
-snort the powder in small amounts, it will still give you slight boogers but will also get you high

10-15mg is a good start and won't give you to bad of a comedown.

Too me, snorting Ritalin is like snorting some really cut down to shit coke that lasts incredibly short with a sharp comedown.
