Hi everyone, my apologies if this is in the wrong thread.. But yesterday around 1pm I took one 54mg Concerta without the coating of course. Then about 5 hours later I took another 54mg. I was up all night, but I started to get a horrid headache. It was bearable, but it just would not go away for the life of me. I had a slight nauseous feeling in the pit of my stomach when I moved around too much.

i finally fell asleep around 9am, and woke up and felt better. But my body aches so bad and I just feel like shit which is unusual because I have a high tolerance for stimulants. I know this is the crash, but I'm wondering a few things.

Is it going to be this bad of a crash if I take more today? Would a tramadol help the body aching? Why is the crash of concerta so abrupt when my body has such a high tolerance for meth? Please help answer my questions!:| thanks

Methylphenidate is notorious for having a horrible crash, worst than any other stimulant IMO.

You can take the tramadol, and it would help with the body aches and probably eliminate the crash, just be 100% certain that the methylphenidate is no longer active to avoid the risk of a seizure.

Yes, if you take more methylphenidate, you'll face the same problem.

Methylphenidate has a different mechanism of action than methamphetamine (NE/DA reuptake inhibition rather than a releaser), so it's not gonnna be completely cross tolerant, I don't think. Also keep in mind it'll have some different side effects from amps, try not messing with the XR mechanism of the pills next time and just take one of them, and see how it goes.

Tramadol might help, but if you've still got any methylphenidate in ya, you could get more crappy effects because it is also a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, and you generally don't wanna mix'em.

yea took 72mg of concerta with my first time ever touching a stimulant. I was up forever! and the crash did suck and had a headache. next day popped a vicoden and ambien and felt okay! hope all is good with just the tramadol
