Ok. SO idk how this all sounds to you but i dont really care. Im in 14 ive experienced weed, jwh oxycotin codien and shit, vicodin n w.e. I wont to try to take a concerta in the morning tomarow to help me focus for this big test. my friend gave me a 54mg concerta, and i feel like that is wayyy to much to take. This is not for recreation, but for school help. now, because it is tome released is there no way at all i can lower the dose(cut it in thirds or something)? Could i cut the end of the ppill with the drug. in half so its half the drug and still time release?

Concerta is extended-release methylphenidate. If you cut it at all you will destroy the time release.

Take your pick. Either you'll have to redose or make do with one big dose - or risk being tweaked out all day. If you only have one test to do, take 10 or 15mg (quarter of the pill) about half an hour before you have to take the test. Assuming you don't regularly eat lots of Ritalin/Adderall you'll be good.

Going to school while crashing really sucks.

Okay, you say you don't care, but someone is going to type this anyway, so it may as well be me: 14 is too young to be messing around with all that stuff. If you find concerta helpful, what are you then going to be able to do about it? You'll begin relying on it for schoolwork, and at age 14 you should be learning new study habits. If you think you may have ADHD or some other issues, you should ask your parents to take you to the doctor.

Also, just so you know, telling us how young you are and then listing the "drugs you've tried" in that manner (using w.e or trying to sound "cool" because you're young and have taken so many drugs, although they are really all just cannabinoids and opiates) won't get you too far here on BL. We try to keep dicksizing out of our forum, just something to keep in mind in the future.

ok. well im not trying to sound cool. I listed those because i thought maybe it would help someone help me how much to take, becuase it shows im nt compeetelly unexperienced with drugs. so i understand there not the same thing at all i just thought theres a chance it would help. and saying "w.e" to sound cool. are you fucking serious. I sorry im not older man. chill. share your experiences help someone out.u do drugs. im trying mild drugs. so sorry if i
" twisted your testes, but dont get ur panies in a not."

off topic: Opiates (Oxycontin especially) are not mild drugs in any sense of the word.

Concerta is fairly harmless for most people but psychologically, the euphoria/concentration/focus for some people and the crash afterwards leads many to regard it as something that's not a "mild" drug either.

Make sure to eat a good healthy breakfast and lunch tomorrow or you will for sure feel like hell. Getting 8 good solid hours of sleep will help a lot too. Don't take caffeine or any other drugs alongside your concerta or you might end up wigging out. In the interest of safety, don't take more than 20mg (roughly half a pill smashed up) if you've never done a stimulant before. Don't take it at all if you have a heart condition, high blood pressure, or are prone to anxiety.

Don't get offended when the moderators enforce the rules around here, that's why they're here. They mean no harm and are just here to keep the forum running smoothly.

Thanks for the support seiko, and just to clear this up...I'm not a guy, or a dude, or a male in anyway...I'm female. Seiko has already said it, but we are here to enforce the rules, and our main rule is harm reduction, so there are things I have to let you know before you continue with posting. I'm in no way saying you should be "older" (most of us who are moderators/post here are probably between the ages of 21-25) but those are not mild, harmless drugs, and your age is an important factor here. I don't really appreciate being told to "chill" either, when I'm just trying to do my volunteered job.
