Explain this you fool. Big week end. three days. I had a few pills and some speed and then some meth. in controll fine. i thinking that ive taken fuck all. and im not that fuck but having a good time. Wake up monday morning feel fine. Decide to get some more sleep . Then i wake up monday night and feel fucked up . body shaking, eyes shaking. emotions fucked up, body fucked takes two weeeks to repair and i sleep for two weeks.
theres no limit where we can say yeah this is doing me damage as wwe dont know . I think we can educate each other in our stories and then we can decide what a safe dosage is. Not we all know when tooo stop. If we did then we wouldnt have drug rehap centres. ok clear

Well the only explanation that i can come up with is you have decidedly reached your limit but then again did you expect to be fine after a three day bender? If you want a technical answer for each of your reactions then im sure there are many people out there that can provide it and im sure there are heaps of posts that have already covered it.
The point i was trying to make it that, as horse pointed out, there are loads of anectodal threads (probably 20,000 - 25,000) about limits and how much to take, etc.
In the end each person has their own limits and drug taking is so user specific in terms of quantity that saying three pills, for example, will not do me any damage, is crap.
Analogous to the current round of cigarette adds : "every pill is doing you damage" the only difference is that we are trying to reduce the damage of nicotine rather than get off it all together.
Please note - i only wanted to reinforce what i looked for on bluelight - i think that concern is definitely warranted in a number of cases here and that these people should seek advice and take a break, myself included. It's always about harm minimisation and prevention of long term and irreparable damage.

On the bottom of every single Bluelight page you look at:
We neither condone nor condemn the use of any illegal drug, but we recognize that illicit substances will be used for recreational purpose regardless of their illegality. There is no such thing as 'safe' drug use, we are facillitating the open exchange of information so users can make more informed decisions regarding their use.
(Deal: Re - "Explain this you fool."
Bringing that kind of attitude will get you less helpful answers to the questions you're asking, and more people telling you to pull your fucking head in.)
The usual answer to "when is it time to stop?" has been mentioned above: "when the comedown outweighs the high". It's up to the individual to decide if being sick for 2 weeks instead of having what used to be an effortless recovery after a big weekend is still "worth it". That is a very personal decision, and it is one which may be very hard to make, because it can involve rearranging some of the priorities in one's life.
We all SHOULD be attuned enough to our own minds and bodies to know when to slow down or stop. You shouldn't have to wait for someone else to tell you, or for essential parts of your body/mind to stop working before you get the hint. Moderation should help avoid having comedowns where you wonder if everything is going to ever be normal again.
Maybe this should be transferred to The Dark Side forum.

Del roy wrote"The whole issue of whether people were irresponsible with their drug taking is a moot one anyway since the very existence of that thread signals that people have caused damage to the extent that there are visible and worrying signs.
In the end it is up for the individual to decide when to stop and all bluelight can do is to provide harm minimisation and encourage people to act as safely and as responsibily as current information and practices allow. "
My arguement is no body is in controll. If we were in control then we wouldnt be taking drugs and screwwing up our minds. The theory that it is up to the individual to stop is bull. We need to eduacate each other on harm reduction through blue light and tell our stories. That is what i mean. All i am saying is that drugs can distort your perception and then screw your life. you think people you know who have become snack addicts wanted it that way?
lets think about it. Its a deadly game were playing hear and if you think its not then you better reconsider.
