concerned because of some pain after injecting

I've been using iv drugs for a little over a year. Mostly heroin and crack. Injecting crack has killed most of My veins so recently I've been using my feet and ankles. I have a vein on my right ankle that I used to shoot a 30 in and the pain after wards is pretty bad. It shoots all the way up to my knee. I'm actually limping. Maybe I hit a nerve? Any ideas?

When a pain is shooting like that it is probably a nerve that you hit.
