Not sure where to start. I'm 17, and I've never been on a drug forum before. I came here to ask questions and talk to people going through the same thing as I am. I wanna say I've been addicted to codeine for almost a year now, but I'm not sure if I classify as addicted. I probably do to be honest, just doubting myself. I just wanna gain advice and support I guess. Edit: forgot to mention, I have questions about codeine use, but not sure where to post/ask about them. Any help would be highly appreciated

Well, joining up was a great place to start!
We're very glad you chose to join our community. It is understandable to be a little overwhelmed or lost when finding yourself in a situation like this, unsure if you are addicted and what to do at this point. We have a BUNCH of members who have used various drugs, including codeine, at varying levels (dabbled a bit, full on addictions, perhaps mixed with other drugs). These folks are very willing to help talk you through where you are, help you decide where you want to be, and how to get there - whether it is coping with your current level of use, or in trying to overcome an addiction; all without judging you but more out of a concern that you remain safe and find happiness. I will caution that some of our members are more jaded from years of use, and to take their experience as something to learn from, but YOU are in control of your life and what you choose to do and become - the point being, not everyone who uses a substance becomes an addict, and while we may have more horror stories than most about how bad things can get, we can also provide the best insight into how to deal with things and make life better. We're here for you, just let us know how we can help.
