This is ridiculous. This is the first time i've ever been in the lounge and i get banned for several months immediately. The Moderator "Owl Eyed" gave me permission to post his picture in the lounge provided that I did not photoshop it. I did what he told me to do, and then i get banned for several months, are u fucking serious? Unreal. I hope an unbias, intelligent and objective admin can get to the bottom of this. It's amazing how some of the moderators are acting. They incite u and then ban you when u stand up to them.

My real account is Alex077. This is Tilt's account, he is from Canada as well and gave me permission to his account in order to voice my complaint.

* The other moderator, Amanda, even said it was a mistake because she didn't read the part where the other admin gave permission to post his picture. Amanda also asked on the same thread if she could take back the infraction given to me.
This is really unfair. Moderators admitting that they didn't read certain critical parts and then asking if they could "un-fraction" the infraction. The moderators can't even make up their minds and then out of no where ban me for several months, I don't think it gets more unprofessional and retarded than this, naw mean?

bluelight staff are volunteers. your complaint will be examined in due course. you need to come to terms with the fact that the process may take longer than you would like.

a word of advice, you'll wear out the sympathy of any staffers who have it with aggressive demands for action and frequent requests for updates. chill out and we'll take a look...

What does sympathy have to do with any of this. Aren't you suppose to remain objective and not subjective when handling these complaints? How long do these usually take, it's not often that I have to go through these? Regardless, take your time. Real talk

Why are you being so condescending? All i asked was how long does it take, I don't have experience with these.

Thanks for alerting me to this, alasdairm. today was one hell of a day at work. I didn't get a chance to check in until a while ago..

I have reviewed the situation and have made the following determinations:

alex077 did indeed have permission to post the image.

amanda_eats_pandas did ask to have the infraction reversed.

So,... I have decided to reverse the infraction which brings the user down to a lower temp ban.. I credited him with time served and lifted his ban.

I have also banned the alt that started this thread with no penalty to the member, alex077.

Now, let's all try to play nice.
 
Thanks a lot papasomni. It was very reasonable, fair and considerate of you to solve this situation. Alasdairm, you are a good man as well. I guess you're blunt and direct like me in your approach but good at heart with good intentions.
