i chewed a pill the other day and it still took almost an hour to kick in
i will say this
one time i was rolling,already on 2 beans,and decided i wanted another half,so i chewed the half and almost instantly after i felt the affects
could have been all in my head
but i swear it wasn't even minutes

what if you crushed up a pill and put it in a drink and drank it?????
 
its better to swallow it whole because then its a slow come-up and gradual comedown...much better for your mind to deal with then a quick comedown:|
 
I'll usually start out by disolving mine under the tongue. But when I get a really good pill the taste is so intense that I can't stand it for too long and I end up chewing and swollowing. I've actually found that most of my best rolls have been when I've chewed. But like I said before, I only chew the really good pills.
 
Chewing is fine but I cant do it, I wake in the morning with hardcore mouth sores. One night when I was allready peaking hard I got another pill and put it under my tounge, I was so off my head that I pritty mush sucked it to nothing, made my hole mouth go numb for 2 days. aybe I got a sensitive mouth.
 
I don't know about snorting.... those binding chemicals are pretty harsh, i dont think i'd like them in such a sensitive part of my body as the nose.... what i tend to do is put the water in my mouth first, tilt my head a little and drop the pill in, then i bite it into smaller pieces, but i'd hardly describe it as "chewing" that way you get more surface area and the pill will come into effect quicker, but you don't have to taste it, and you don't get any caught in your teeth... try using the sharp coupe teeth between the front ones and your molars... less places to get bits of pill caught. or then again, you could just swallow it hole and wait and not be so impatient for it to kick in... i mean surely you're having a good time before the come-up right? so what's an extra 15 mins or so?

I’ve read about “chewing” pills on this site before. Do you actually mean literally chewing the pill, or do you mean swallowing the pill?

It just seemed odd to me. Eat a pill? What are the advantages over swallowing?

Crushing or chewing a pill will increase the rate at which a pill is absorbed.

Ecstasy tastes extremely bitter.

Crushing/chewing and holding the powder under the tongue will further increase the rate of absorption.

This can increase the intensity of the intial come up, and possible slighty lessen the overall duration.

yea basicly u just chew the fuck outa the pill and swallow it wit some water... if u ask me, thats fucking horribly nasty... think about the chemical burn... i dont think little tiny peices of E jammed between your teeth is very appealing, but if your really so impatient that u cant wait the extra 30-60mins for your roll to come on, then chew away!
 
Do not chew tabs. You don't know how many chemicals are in your basic tab. Over time,most chemicals found in tabs will break down the enamal in your teeth. If you want the pill to hit quicker,just crush the pill and parachute it.
 
I've chewed pills many a time but the first few times i did and on an empty stomach they didn't hit me for 2 hours. They had a slight feeling in the first hour but this died of making me think the pill was finished and i forget about it but than 1 hour later bang i got tingles all over my body. These were some of the best hits of MDMA i have ever had. How this happend i don't but it made me think that good MDMA hits later then earlier.
 
^ Just a fluke. Stronger MDMA should come on a tiny tiny tiny bit faster, everything else being equal...
...Of course, nothing ever is equal, the different in absorption rates is going to have far more to do with somach contents, intestinal motility, duodenal pH etc.. etc... and very little to do with pill strength.
 
I've found that dissolving pills under my tounge helps them come on quicker and I get a far more intense roll out of it.

Eg two months ago my mates and I rolled on White V dubs and I did the above whilst mates swallowed, these were good pills. I was completely trolleyed for about 3.5 hours and loving it, whilst there's wore off after 2 hours or so, about a month later we had green mitsi's (also fucken brilliant, if not better) and we all dissolved, this time we were maggeted for a good 5 hours.

I recommend this method to everyone I roll with, the bad taste is worth the intensity.
 
chew with front part of teeth. dissolving under tongue requires u to crush it up. so thats kinda hard to do in a rave so yeah
 
I don't mind the taste, but when chewing small bits get stuck in my teeth. I find that the most annoying.
 
Ive found that the stronger a pill is (higher mdma content) the quicker it will come on.

I dont really like chewing pills, i nearly gag when i swallow them.
I guess its just strong pills for me then.
