I don’t think it will get in the way of recovery from Invega. It takes Invega 8-12 months to get out of your system and you possibly won’t see any minor changes until the sixth month. I’m in the same boat as you 4.5 months with no recovery. We just have to hold on.

If i understand correctly, first invega needs to leave your body and than your brain starts going back to the way it was for a few months afterwards?

It will. The longest portion of recovering from antipsychotic’s is being off of them and reallowing your body to readjust. It’s more about having your optimize itself for function without any lingering traces of Antipsychotic than it is about getting Invega out your blood stream.

The psychiatrist’s are probably right after 2-4 months the Invega is functioning at a high level anymore for a lot of people but the effects it has on your brain are prominent and sometimes permanent changes. It’s about getting all APs out of your system for good and your body needs time to withdrawal away from it all. Being on any AP could potentially stop progress forever.

Generally yes, once you use an AP your brain never goes back to its original state. But it will go back to a more similar function. Taking any APs jeopardizes this.

What permanent changes?

If my brain will never go back to the way it was, does that mean my cognition, reasoning, creativity, imagination, perfectionism etc will never be back?

If anyone needs coaching lmk... I've went from about 55% to 85% in the last month after a 2.5 year struggle.. I thought I was subjectively higher about 5 months ago but had bit of a set back from smoking cigarettes again...( toxin overload/chemical sensitivity ) This forum is a cesspool of complaining and misery. Reminds me a sort of socialist suicide pact of mediocrity. I think the shared misery actually has led people to suicide that would not of otherwise... be careful who you associate with.

I've honestly never been so repulsed by a place, but in the same breath I will acknowledge it was my only refuge in my darkest moment due to it being a place of shared trauma.I had to really focus on the positive stories. Still think it might be a moral obligation to share my research and make a discord for those that practice things such as faith/hope/maximum effort.. and aren't into complaining... We all heal 100% and there are ways to speed up the progress... I guarantee you will heal one way or another.. don't doubt it for a moment... cheers.

2 shots of invega Sustenna... zoloft and klonopin withdraw simultaneously... may 2023.. thinking by this summer I will be 100% and stronger than ever. Let's stay rationally optimistic ( X is a much better place to do research btw )

Suicidal Empathy: Dying to Be Kind is an actual upcoming book by evolutionary psychologist Gad Saad. It's scheduled for release on May 12, 2026, by HarperCollins

I truly believe this is breeding grounds for 9/11 hijackers and Columbine like school shooters combos... even someone as dumb as Luigi who killed a CEO that was replaced the next day and will spend the rest of his life in a prison cell.

Closing question.

What do you think led you into the hospital to begin with ?

exactly the sort of rhetoric I am talking about... very sad.. I'll pray for you as I am attempting to bring awareness to the shots so people don't have to go through the haul. I know it's difficult but it is temporary and you will make it through.

but tbh with you.. part of me wants to never look back... cause of the level of darkness and trauma here.

this is so strange, it honestly feels like my akathisa has returned a little, I don’t think that has happened to anyone

I can’t believe living in this hell for 2 years to just get 50 percent better you know, thank you for bringing hope but i dont think there is hope for us anymore, its unbelievable how can they torture us with this. Thats sad and i get hopeless when i see people who are ok with 50 percent after 2 years

No even if you search in chatgpt it says that your brain after long time of suppression from AP, it would never comeback to itself and if you are lucky, it will be so similar, so i dont get it when people say 100% recovered which is falsehope, whoever claim that they are 100% recovered its BS for sure

Can anyone confirm if this is true?
