Probably the whole solution about “cure us” it’s not even e by taking dopamine agonists, they have to check our DNA and i’am sure that they will find out the “code” aka the part responsable for healing the body is missing or damaged and this is why we are not healing.
When I “bited my nails” before these injection it took 2-3 days to fully heal and not even a week to grow back, but after these injections it take at least 1 week to heal and even the growth process of nails it’s slowed down, even the growth process of my beard it’s slowed down compared to before

So she had PTSD from both the Nova event and then from involuntary psychiatric 'treatment'. But it's not clear from the article if the neuroleptic injection she received was rapid-acting or long-acting (i.e. Invega Sustenna, Abilify Maintena, Zyprexa Relprevv... are those all of the long-acting injectables?). Getting force injected a rapid-acting one is not good either, but they are less damaging than the long-acting/extended-release ones. Either way, good that her family is speaking out. Thanks for sharing.

right :( there must be more we can do

Others with 'post-drug syndromes' say it has made a difference to go public with their stories, but I don't want to do that, and I doubt most of you want to do that either

how many doses did you have?

I need some comfort, I remember the first week I took the injection I would feel super tired if I ate and resembled diabetic symptoms, I am not sure if it was my anxiety or what, i don’t have it anymore

I had tingling and dry mouth, they all went now, I don’t really feel fatigue anymore

is this normal? did anyone else have this?

How long does it take for sensitivity to caffeine take to come back? Or does it not come back at all.

it would really help if more people that recovered were here to ask these questions
Yeah, if I ever recover I’ll be definitely staying here for a long time helping as many as I can. But for most people I can’t blame them- they just want to move on in their lives. I Just finished a coffee then and felt it 10% power, which is an improvement, or could be placebo who knows.

same, I have had some improvement in my symptoms like the fatigue is either gone or has lessened, my sleep is better and my appetite improved and restlessness has lessened

changed sense of taste, lack of hunger signals are still here, constipation/urinating more and and ofc anhedonia still there, which is my biggest worry, I am hoping I recover as I had two shots and don’t want to die but my mind is telling me this is permanent

I wonder if the anhedonia lessens and then goes away, I wrote down a buncha list of movies and tv shows to watch, it would be a shame for it to all go to waste

Sometimes I wonder myself if just have brain damage from psychosis
I don't think it's true that psychosis causes brain damage. They claim neuroleptics are "neuroprotective" against brain damage from psychosis, which is a lie, as we all know they cause brain damage. If you had a drug-induced psychosis then it's possible the drug use caused brain damage, but not psychosis itself

how many doses did you have?
I had the first 2 doses, 234 mg and 156 mg, 6 days apart.

I can feel caffeine and alcohol. I enjoy both, but the latter is now impairment on top of impairment, which feels weird.

I found this questionnaire about 'reparations for psychiatric institutionalization' if anyone wants to fill it out: https://www.reimaginingcrisissupport.org/reparations

do you still have anhedonia?

Are you currently taking olanzapine in the evenings to help you sleep better? I read earlier that you were potentially considering it. I take it at the moment in the evenings, though I'm not sure if it will get in the way of my recovery.

they prescribed 5mg, I decided to not take it as my sleep improved, however if it somehow worsens, I think I will take 5mg and 10mg earlier this year I already took it earlier this year and it just made me sedated, no anhedonia

I was just looking at old photos of myself and painful nostalgic memories came into surface. I'll never be that person in the photos again- a sad reality but I need to accept this. I don't know how I'm going to move forward as everything about my future of obscure. I ruined a perfect life with drug use, fell into psychosis as a result and I'm now here. These injections have ruined my life and it's looking pretty slim at any chance of recovery.

I cant tell if i can feel coffee or tea. Coffee does give me acid reflux but dont know how i can tell if i am feeling the effects of caffeine or not.
