He said "his brain may never be the same again" was not encouraging.
He's speaking from his situation but he also said on a positive note that he felt stronger from the experience, also he does contradict himself by saying "I am back to my original mental sharpness (or close to it) and I can feel emotions. As a somewhat positive side effect, I don't get anxious easily"

Its also possible that he said his brain is never gonna be the same since he's a changed person after two years so of course it will not be the same, @anonymoususer777 don't worry too much about it, you're focusing too much on one line.

Unfortunatley that guy that healed from abilify only had anxiety. I have so many effects from abilify myself. So I probably won't heal as fast as him but it's still encouraging.

Fortunately for him though lol but I get you bro, glad it encouraged you we have to hold on to whatever positivity there is or we'll be sinking in a hole of our own dread.

I used to run every day… when does having enough motivation/energy for exercise come back?

Some people seriously post in these threads everyday, but seemingly read absolutely nothing that has been posted

@paranoid android
Im taking zyprexa and like you 10mg a night, don’t notice any side effects?

Im just over 2 months in from Invega but im afraid I wont recover because im on zyprexa.

I cant stop taking it because I wont sleep as Invega caused me insomnia. I feel lost at the moment.

The thing is I don’t know if I’m getting side effects, as I’ve had six shots Invega and I only ceased them two months ago. I won’t know until Invega is out of my system if zyprexa is contributing to my total feeling. I’m unable to discontinue zyprexa and hope that it doesn’t stop me from recovering. I guess I won’t know anything until around six more months or so if it’s doing me any harm.

I sincerely hope that all the negative side effects I have right now, are from invega and not zyprexa/olanzapine.

Are you referring to me?

Only if you don’t read previous posts or any of the message board history. Referencing your posts quickly you’ve indicated you read the posts and even responded to people about what they’re posting about. So in this instance, no.

The only side effects zyprexa usually causes is drowsiness right after you take it. Doesent make me drowsy at all though

I’m reading old versions of this thread and seeing many reports of caffeine/nicotine/stimulants not working possibly permanently, like @Dr PHD in v4: https://www.bluelight.org/community/members/dr-phd.541030/

The reason I’m so focused on this part of recovery is I need my ADHD medication to work so that I can function at work
I sent you a DM about this but also wanted to reply publicly so people who share similar concerns can see. Stimulants such as adderall and caffeine still work on on me. The effects were severely blunted for several months, but over time they were able to reach full effect again. The blocking of their effects were not permanent in my case.

Still here, since i’am in a very negative mood
And mindset about recovery or permanent damage, i don’t want to complain or share negativity, thanks for thinking about me..
I don’t think you are sharing negativity, this is what can happen when you get these injections. You are left feeling lobotomised and feel hopeless. Well this is how I feel now and I can’t see myself improving any time soon. 2 months in and still feel as if I was just injected last week. I know people will say two months is early days, but seriously no improvements my way since my injections.

I do think I can potentially recover but I’m not counting on it anytime soon. Keep posting here- we are all on different journeys but. share the pain of these injections.

@raw banana

You mentioned you were 40% recovered then spoke about suicide again. What’s going on- I’m here for a chat
I don’t want to live anymore honestly. Too much has changed for me and I don’t have the motivation to get better.

I wish a truck would just run me over or something. I wish suicide was easier
