Sorry for the language. I’ve been here almost 2 years or been in this battle for 2 years. I’m so fucking tired of this guys! I got invega, recovered to the point of feeling normal in 7 months. Got hospitalized, was given haldol only 10mg with a few other meds while in my 3 day stay. But one 10mg shot and I am still fucked 11 months later. I have windows but I feel like those are caffeine induced windows honestly. Has anybody recovered more than once? This is seriously a call for help not negativity I am so close to doing something I will not post.

It was 8-9 months before I felt a significant improvement, but there were small improvements with each passing month. I was also prescribed Adderall which did feel like it helped a bit in the early stages, though the effects of it were heavily blunted. The Adderall contributed to me experiencing additional psychoses post-invega. I am off it now and I wish I never took it to begin with. Early on I felt like I would do almost anything for just a little relief though.

After a full year I felt like I could go back to working at least part-time and begin training consistently in grappling/mma. I couldn't have done those things if I didnt feel at least close to a full recovery. But I should note that I was on Lamictal, Adderall and PRN Klonopin at that time. Possibly even Prozac and Wellbutrin but I don't remember for sure. It was a long time ago and I've tried a lot of different meds over the years.

You need to give it more time bro. I was hit with 10 invega shots + 3 shots of haldol at 5 mg so way way more than you. And I noticed some improvements in the last 2 months compared to the 8 months prior. I can do more things now but only part missing is i get no joy. Increase in prayer if you can maybe calling on the divine to help aid your recovery is just what you need. You need to wait 2 years atleast thats what im doing atleast. If I dont recover by feb 2026. Then I will conclude that my recovery will take a long time . Maybe there is damage to our brain but the brain completly recycles itself so there is guranteed recovery down the line anyway. Please don't resort to anything extreme without trying everything you can. Like ahmed said , reward comes after suffering not the other way around.

I've been playing Fortnite for like 12 hours a day since Novemeber. I used to only get on for a few hours at a time but I barely watch TV or Netflix nowadays and before I know it the days over. It's weird because a few months ago I was asking if anyone wants my computer because I never thought I'd use it again.

Bro i'm telling you, we are slowly recovering. I didnt play any games or touch my pc in 2023 when i was on the injections, as of the last two months. I'm watching movies , playing games all day , started getting more spiritual , and much more . This did not happen in the first 8 months of recovery, only in the last 2 months have i improved. The joy and pleasure will surely come back with time and the more we do our hobbies.
 
@Youwillrecover bruh i wanna read the new testament again. Last time i read it was few years ago . We are encouraged to read other scripture 100% it has truth in it. While we disagree with christians on some parts we believe they are our brothers and sisters.

Prayer is amazing bro , I asked for so many impossible things while prostrating yesterday but nothing is impossible to God. One of the things i asked for was to heal me and everyone here. Jesus peace be opon him said "Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” In Mark 11:24.
