I'm his big brother and yes my little brother hanged himself due this shot. He kept complaining about how horrible he felt. He left a letter. One of the things he wanted me to do was login to bluelight and explain what happened to everyone. He said there is no recovery.
Damn.

how long was he off invega for?

it takes almost 1 year (8 months) to see some REAL progress to recovery but you gotta be cold turkey on invega.

it sad to hear this news about your brother. people should had told him about ST JOHN WORT tablets on how to assist in recovery from invega injection.

i think your brother was duped by the forum. not enough people share experience when they achieve recovery around here

There needs to be a recovery FAQ, facts about invega, and recovery story collection on the first page.

Proposal for FAQ answers and facts:

We need the estimated time of elimination but in total days and not the half-life equation bullshit, because some people aren't great at math or their mathematical abilities are impaired by the shots. And for every version of the medication; sustenna, trinza and hafyera.

It needs to be stated it is normal to take 1-2 years to recover and recovery can continue even after that, but that is more rare and people should expect to recover in a year.

It is a fact the "irreversible antagonist" detail isn't a big deal.

People are more often than not still fertile after the medication leaves their system, but the risk for infertility increases with the length you have been on it.

Tremors and parkinsonism are likely to resolve but some people will have permanent tardive dyskinesia.

Sexuality often fully recovers.

It is not safe to take an SSRI after you had invega sustenna because it can give you PSSD with severe depersonalization/derealization and full anhedonia if you didn't have anhedonia from invega.

It can take two years for hormone levels to return to normal.
St. John's wort should be mentioned in your post.
It is a inhibitor.
It will remove invega from the blood much quicker than you think it does.

Read this book.

I had about almost 20 shots of invega (monthly injections).

i wouldn't worry too much once you are off the injections. It will take almost a year to see some type of recovery. You do end up losing some weight but it will take time.

Be thankful and don't relapse (don't bother going back to the WARD for other drugs as well).

stay off invega for 1 year to see results in recovery.

and to those who are currently on invega, i ask you to take ST JOHN WORT tablets because it will REMOVE invega from your blood much quicker
I'd assume you're OK now after the 20 injections? How long has it been for you? Any tips other than st johns wort?

I am okay , i can do much better because i went in and out the system. I was given other drugs as well after invega hence the delay in the recovery.

i will say st john wort is the best advice i can give someone. it is a miracle healing supplement - it destroys invega.

give it 8 months (after going cold turkey) to see some progress.. it gets better. the weight naturally falls off a few years of recovery .

just be careful when you are off this drug. your brain is doing its best to unshrink itself. don't make the same mistake that got you in the system.

What kind of dosage of SJW should be taken, and just once a day?
I'm going to order some. I've been off invega for 5 months, do u think it will still be beneficial?

How long did it take you to recover from invega? Did you have anhedonia and lose your emotions?

Thanks.

Yeah. I would have used it if I didn't have an autoimmune disease. I can't have it because it aggravates ulcerative colitis.

It's a much safer antidepressant than SSRIs and even SNRIs and I wish more people tried that before they try pharmaceuticals. Pharma antidepressants can be great and life-saving, but they can be harmful too. It's similar to the trade-off I get from my immunosuppressants, which slightly increases cancer risk. But people should NEVER take an SSRI with or after invega, even if it is allegedly safe. It's not, invega fucks up your brain's ability to upregulate so you don't go back to normal as fast as you should after the SSRI.

It still happens though. I think maybe invega-induced PSSD might actually be easier to recover from than the plainly unlucky kind. Me and two other people who got PSSD from an SSRI after invega have all gotten better. Easier to recover from if you survive it, because it is pure hell and it's very easy to kill yourself because you stop caring about anything and feel completely disconnected from the people who love you.

I think SSRIs should be a second resort rather than a first resort against depression. Natural remedies don't work on everyone, but the natural stuff (CBD, microdosing, lavender extract, St. John's Wort) has a much better safety profile than SSRIs.

Sorry for the ramble. I need a nap.

Can you make a detailed post about your time on the drug and your recovery?

Hey guys, did any of you lost the ability to feel cannabis, shrooms, alcohol etc. due to invega and possibly recovered from this? I'm having this issue due to abilify which is a similar atypical antipsychotic. I also made a thread about this. It has been 6 months since I dropped abilify but I still can't get any effects from any substance I tried. Any tip is appreciated.
I recovered my ability to feel substances, at least mostly. I don't feel alcohol as strongly as I did before, but that doesn't matter to me since I don't drink much anyway. I have like one or two drinks a year if at all.

I can only feel indicas as far as weed goes! Strange! Almost the same as before though, it's just missing an emotional dimension.

I try not to make any judgement right now.

I try to stop thinking because right now I don't think normally.

Everything that I think now looks negative and impossible to do.

Just admitting that I am a patient still and try to relax.

Its straight forward. I waited for more than 2 years at the least to see some recovery.

I feel normal but still have ED which is caused by other drugs.
Hello, since when do you no longer take chemical drugs? Which drugs?

How long did it take you to lose all your weight? I received 4 injections of haldol 14 months ago and I stopped.

I still have to lose weight. I only lost 30 pounds out of 90 pounds caused by invega so far. I guess I'm 2 years off.

Hello everyone. Just making an update post to hopefully give some of you hope if you are in darkness right now dealing with invega.

I personally had an extremely fucked reaction. Every symptom and it was so bad it also gave me some pretty severe kyphosis (hunched spine) over night.

With the exception of my spine and some circulation issues everything healed and improved. I genuinely believed it was IMPOSSIBLE for me to ever be happy again. I was very wrong.

I am now a stronger individual who is extremely grateful to have a second chance at life again.

What helped me the most was consuming raw milk. Extremely good for healing.

Much love ❤️
