Mental Health Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v 8.0

Hopefully I don’t have to do anything extra to heal only got 2 loading doses and don’t have many side effects anymore just pssd so hopefully that goes away ( most recoveries said that comes back first) my own problem even before invega is i would be extremely horny and end up rubbing one out most of the time but now i don’t really get horny unless i’m watching porn and even then it’s very little attraction but when i do get hard enough i try to rub one out and i don’t know how that affects recovery PLEASE GOD HEAL ME I AM YOUR SON AND WANT TO START A FAMILY ONE DAY🙏 only 22 btw my birthday was yesterday. Gonna try to go the rest of my recovery without masterbation and see how that turns out but it’s hard because i naturally have a dirty mind but i will do anything to recover and feel attraction to women how i use to

when was the last time you had the injection, and is your anhedonia gone?

Upon doing a quick search, it is possible to only have negative symptoms with little to no presence of positive symptoms but you gotta ask, why didnt you have this before your weed induced psychosis. You would noticed the negative symptoms long before if it was schizophrenia .

I'm the same as you, got the same side effects and weed caused my psychosis . I was fully fine the year before. So just waiting a 1-2 years for recovery.

Well actually that makes sense. I experienced intense euforia and happiness also I was very social and extrovert before being injected, maybe that's the opposite of schizophrenia so I don't know how they made that diagnosis... Bipolar disorder makes more sense to me. I'm having these strong doubts because after 1 year I should at least see some improvements if the problems is the injection, so there must be some other causes. What do you think?

1 year sounds like a long time with no improvements but its also not uncommon, few other users had the same thing in this version when i was browsing it. The antipsychotic is still in ur brain and to confirm you can get a blood test to see how many ng are in ur system. I honestly think its still early to assume its permanent so just stay positive

I was hospitalized for mania and delusional behavior that was also induced by weed but that never returned after I stopped meds. But actually all problems that I have now look like negative symptoms of schizophrenia like alogia (difficulty in articulating speech), anhedonia, blunted emotions, no motivation, depression, social isolation, cognitive and memory problems ect... More than one year has passed and it doesn't look like I'm coming back to my old self. Do you ever think that maybe the ones who are not recovering is because they have schizophrenia? Is it possible to experience only the negative symptoms?

I have schizophrenia and was suffering from the negative symptoms BEFORE any of this happened. Invega basically gave me a slew of more symptoms to deal with and has made me almost non functional. I no longer feel I’m suffering from mental health issues, but from brain damage caused by the Invega. I think you might be in a similar boat as you really had no symptoms of schizophrenia until the weed induced psycosis… it’s shocking, right, how your brain can go from functional or semi-functional to not functioning at all. I’m so sorry dude. I’m in the same boat and battle suicidal ideation a lot of the time. I’m currently in the process of trying to find a psychiatrist who can help me, and will start an MAOI soon which will also hopefully help/give some relief…
 
friends, I'm going to tell you my story, I took seroquel for 2 years, a maximum of 150 mg and I haven't taken it since 2016, I have the same symptoms as you, it's early onset dementia, I've already tried ahayuasca herb and now finally I'm going to try cocaine to try feel anything, I also took bupropion, venlafaxine and am on medication and none of my memories or feelings have come back. I leave it in God's hands if he exists
 
How does anyone cope with this shit? Like never having physiological comfort (especially as a warm blooded mammal) is psychologically unnerving. I have no coping skills to boot except take a shower or bath and our hot water doesn’t last long so I just sit there in misery….


Does anyone else here feel physically uncomfortable 24 hours 7 days a week? Or how do you cope with extreme discomfort?

I don’t know how I can continue with this shit, even with upcoming appointments. It’s unbearable.

I'm so happy you recovered and I pray i recover like you, only 70 days since last injection.

you're still taking antipsychotics? or something else

I wasn’t like a normal person who had psychosis and got misdiagnosed.

It’s so bad right now. I’m gradually losing my will to live every day and doing less and less. Until my body gives me something to give me hope, I cannot believe you or any of the hope stories.
