i just laughed more than i have in 4 months

There are cases above 3 years, but most of these are on meds (ADs/APs/neuroleptics) and that can't be assigned to invega. Benzos also can postpone recovery.I just have to say that I’ve never seen these stories of people that “never recover”… I’ve definitely seen a lot of people suffering intensely below the 1 year mark and sometimes the two year but rarely the 3 or above years point. I’ve seen many recovery stories and have contacted over 30 people so far privately about their recovery journeys with invega and a lot of people have made a full recovery. But I have to say I’m only 3 months in and it doesn’t make this hell any easier. I can’t think, feel emotions or pleasure barely at all and I think about suicide more than I can help. Sending love to everyone going through this right now and thank you so much for the recovered ones who have been sticking around here to give us hope, it means everything to us.
I spoke with some of the people who "hear voices" and all of them told me these were more like thoughts or racing thoughts, so not an actual auditory hallucination. Many of these were prescribed AP-s.are you on invega because you are actually experiencing schizophrenia like auditory hallucinations or even visual hallucinations or are you just generally acting what people consider crazy and that's why they drugged you? sorry if you've already discussed this. there is a lot going on in these thread. i'm unfamiliar with who is who.
i'm curious if you've had experience with negative schizophrenia and then had help from the drugs to make your voices more appealing to you? i've read a lot of people's encounters with schizophrenia and a lot of times the drugs you are talking about don't always work to help the voices or have negative effects... maybe it's different for people that are more brave to take the drug and hope for good effects. i'm not saying those drugs don't help some. also they might help more people if they are legal... i think some people might actually have a super natural curse where bad spirits high jack parts of their brain and make the people uncontrollably hear bad stuff. these people may be interested in turning that part of their brain off. i think some people can totally possibly have good experiences with schizophrenia i mostly do and i take a lot of different drugs. i just assume i have been conditioned to be a certain way or maybe even am blessed by good spirits... i wouldn't wish to totally take away psychmeds though from all the different types of encounters people have that i've read about.
What is wrong with feeling like dreaming/in dream? I think you describe it improperly.I constantly feel like I'm dreaming.
Ah yeah, I forgot about that bit... He's very controlling, especially towards a character that has a 10 year lifespan supposedly. He seems to become better once she leaves.Yeah, I started watching it last year with Discovery, then Lower Decks, The Next Generation, Strange New Worlds, some of the animated series and original series, and I just finished Voyager and I'm on Deep Space 9 now. Gonna finish my watching with Picard. I actually really liked Discovery and I'm looking forward to season 5. I think my favorites are Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds.
I hated Neelix when he was with Kes! But I have a soft spot for annoying characters who have to earn respect and he also sort of grew on me. I like how he and Tuvoc became friends in that episode.
I talk about star trek... It's a good show to get your brain back. How old are you? Talking about star-trek and worrying about masterbating and being horny. Focus on getting your brain back and a job and making money! And building a life for yourself! Not masterbating and friggen Star Trek! My god!
P.s. Keep talking about whatever you like on this forum. Most of us are interested in supporting one another. Ignore any dilapidated commentary.Yeah, I started watching it last year with Discovery, then Lower Decks, The Next Generation, Strange New Worlds, some of the animated series and original series, and I just finished Voyager and I'm on Deep Space 9 now. I can get high from weed but not enjoyableI wish I could get a buzz. Have y’all tried anything that works on Invega or other antipsychotics? I’m on Abilify Maintena. At this point though I think I’m just gonna stick with tobacco products so nothing harder than that
I would much rather "hear voices" than have all the joy sucked from my life and become a dysfunctional, castrated vegetable.i don't know some people get bad auditory hallucinations and can't really deal with life with out these drugs. they are definitely meant for some people. hearing the non stop shit that schizophrenia can be really doesn't suit some people and i've heard some people get blatantly bad and sickening annoying shit for voices so if they need meds to stop that i see no problem with it. maybe there is ways to do like spiritual exorcisms or something that i don't know of, but some people can't live with that shit. no disrespect to people that need meds imo... i don't think they should force people to take meds though. maybe more counseling about why i was confused could've helped me a little quicker, but mostly not... maybe even the fear of being forced to take more meds makes me more sane as well as my psychiatrists have let myself ween off of them. like i'm afraid to loose my mind (which might be fun) but i don't want to end up in the hospital and forced to take meds. : /
Similar symptoms I have/had. I have to put the work in and force myself to do pretty much everything and I notice it getting worse when I just feed into and not try so I would recommend trying to force yourself to do things and stick to a routine/schedule. If you’re noticing weight issues from it i recommend reducing your carb and sugar intake and sticking to more proteins and vegetables. Start with a daily routine that’s not stressful and slowly increase as you adjust. For future refresh.
Praying for recovery so this can be something I and others look back at.
Current symptoms.
Brain dead, loss of motor skills, total loss of prior ability’s such as basketball and reading the stock market, anhedonia, insomnia, no motivation toward anything including showering and normal daily things like brushing my teeth are a task, music is boring, difficulty maintaining eye contact and communicating (both I was very good at prior to invega), no thoughts other than about the damage invega has done, total erectile dysfunction, sexual dysfunction (I do not get horny), can get high but it is not enjoyable like it was for the 6 years I’ve smoked prior, numbness in the entire body including my penis, derealization, feel like I’m living a fake life nothing feels real anymore, feel like I’m living in 3rd person (spectating myself as if I’m an outsider), total loss of personality, muscle turned to fat, extreme weight gain was 180 for 4 years now i am 222 pounds, added weight seems to be all in the gut/face, weight gain in face makes me feel like I look different then before, hair loss, hair thinning, suicidal thoughts 24/7 (was never suicidal prior to invega) 5 months off of getting injected with poison everyday is the same cruel torture.

The biggest tragedy of this is thag we didn't even have any issues and we end up on these drugs. But fuck it, no one deserves to be on them. There's a couple of people who've done just that, and gone on to live successful lives.

But that was because of drugs, right? It would go away on it's own.I mean, I absolutely had issues. I've had two psychotic episodes. But since I don't have symptoms in my day to day life, it's better to work together with a psychiatrist so we can address my issues if they ever come up again, with a minimal amount of medication if necessary. That's an entirely different situation than being injected with a disabling dose of medication by a doctor who's spent two five minute sessions with me in an ER.

Weed definitely causes psychosis, I've known loads of people to get psychosis from continually using it. The ones who are fine use it once in a while, like monthly at a party...Hard to say, tbh. Nobody's really sure whether weed causes psychotic episodes or just activates mental issues that were dormant.
