i fear i'll never recover😔 i fear its permanent even if i had 2 shots only the only improvement is the parkinsons went away i can laugh sometimes and dont feel zombified as much i still feel emotionally numb cant cry cant get natural erection brain fog i fear its permanent😔 i hope its not😔 3 and a half months off😔

I started *very* slowly by only doing some walks everyday (which can also help with anhedonia over a long term) and kept a very strict diet until I regained that little bit of strength that was just enough to also start doing simple exercises

The injections halt your metabolism to a point where even one cheat meal will mess you up tenfold and it takes a long time to recover from that just like most of the other side-effects

Nowadays (almost 18 months off) I feel exactly like I was in my 20s, with visible abs and decent looks overall despite not even keeping up as much with my exercises, and I am happier than ever




I took exactly two injections over two months and my psych allowed me to just stop taking them without even tapering (long-acting injections tend to kinda taper on their own according to research+some doctors I talked to)


And yes, my ability to feel and express emotions was severely impaired during the early stages of recovery, it came back very gradually, very slowly but when you do notice the little differences over time it *does* feel pretty good and that will give you the hope and motivation to keep going forward

Thank you that gives me a lot of hope. Did you get any loose skin? Idk why but im worried about that. What was your weight when you were 25kg heavier and after you lost it all. Super happy for you that everything came back.

The fact that you can laugh sometimes now and that the Parkinson’s like symptoms went away and you don’t feel as zombified are all extremely good signs for recovery. This is a long battle for everyone in it and at 3.5 months you’re lucky to be seeing ANY signs of recovery at all…. Agreed guys?

IF I even get a judge.. they showed up with an ambulance approximately two weeks ago.. they didn’t have a court order. I should have called the POLICE! I wasn’t prepared to be admitted again

What happened for this to occur? I don't believe they need a court order to have you admitted involuntarily under certain circumstances. Calling the police would likely not have helped your situation, unfortunately.

Nothing really. I stayed up two nights in a row , time went extremely slow for me, couldn’t do anything basically I phoned them and thought I needed help, so they coerced me into their help.

I’m on seroquel bc I couldn’t sleep and everything is gone.. I feel agitated, no libido, no motivation.

Can someone pls give me an opinion, will an ssri/snri work after 6 months off invega? I’ve had 4 shots
