I never would have taken this willingly, but when you're under a CTO you have no choice or the police will come, take you to hospital and hold you down while the nurse gives the injection. For my first injection I was held down by three people cause I didn't want to take it.do not take anymore
Yeah its about the high because it last a month, well about 3mgs now. Yeah I feel for people getting court ordered, they did that to women I know gave dystonia so bad she was in wheel chair. My doses of invega were for the first three/four shots at 100 mg, for the second three at 75 mg, and my last has been at 50 mg and the next and final one is to be 50mg
I can't imagine three years of invega, 7 months is hard enough.I had about 9 or 11 shots of abilify and 3 years of invega the pill 6 and 9 mgs Invega. Yeah it turned me into a potted plant that didn't care about anything, I was kinda glad I got diagnosed with cancer at the time hoping it was terminal. Only thing that keeped me going on Invega was the stimulants they gave me.
6th, 7th, and 8th grade then they pulled me off the Invega and put me on Zyprexa because of that dystonic reaction. Im glad I was on pills those shots are to strong. They just have me laying and bed all day and pacing the house when I cant lay in bed. Give me awful fucking insomnia because that I had to drink so heavily to pass out to get sleep finally I gave up with that garbage because it all gave me akathisia.I can't imagine three years of invega, 7 months is hard enough.
Wow so you got invega when you were just a kid? That must have been traumatic!6th, 7th, and 8th grade then they pulled me off the Invega and put me on Zyprexa.
Yup they completely fucked those years of school with those, they bascally did all my work for me I think they felt bad. They even say I think your on too many drugs. I even grew breasts luckily they went away though, not fat man breasts either I was pretty under weight women breasts that lactated but smaller.Wow so you got invega when you were just a kid? That must have been traumatic!
Nope I think shit fucked my head up bit, I mean the main side effects went away mostly I still got dystonia that effects my eye and mild akathisia. I think you probably be ok, my case is little complicated on it from 11 too 23 or 24, been since June 2020 since I quite them all 6 years about.I can't imagine how embarrassing that would have been for you at at that age...Do you feel like you got back your true personality after they took you off it?
I wish it had to be approved by my family, they would have said no.@YogirisingKundalini if you inject someone without their families permission here you lose your license and go to jail
That's fantastic! Very happy for you.Hi guys not typed in this chat for a while but I’ll be joining you all on this journey of healing now as I’ve got my last injection tomorrow and they’ve decided to end my CTO after only 4 months, this made my day anyway I know you’re all not in a good spot but it feels good knowing you’re all here dealing with the same as me! Keep fighting guys
Moving toward 18 months. Nothing short of an unimaginable nightmare.BTW, how long have you been going through withdrawal?
It's crazy that your symptoms on Invega are similar to my symptoms from the withdrawal. Sorry for all your loss. Me too.One thing I've noticed from being on this drug is that there is never anything interesting for me to say in conversations anymore, and the only thing that occupies my mind is how much it has changed my brain and how much my personality has changed on it. I keep on comparing myself to the past in so many ways and wonder if I'll ever go back to being that vibrant, funny, and at times quirky guy with a passion in languages, geography, music and making friends with total strangers. Invega sucked the joy out of life for me.
When I learned about her story, it broke my heart. It's especially painful to think about her children. This loss is such a profound injustice, and it reminds me how important it is for all of us to hold on to each other here while we're going through recoveryI was thinking about Bojana today and it's such a shame she's not alive now to cheer us on with our recovery. She had kids and was 46 years old. Such a beautiful name too, Bojana. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think she was 14 months off of Invega when she ended it. I wish she were still alive today.
I feel like I'm gonna end up like her.I was thinking about Bojana today and it's such a shame she's not alive now to cheer us on with our recovery. She had kids and was 46 years old.
