Coming off Invega/Xeplion (paliperidone) injections v 12

3 months into 3 shots (2 loading doses in February and 1 shot in early April)

I got hospitalized 3x in the last month because all I could do was pace the house and not sit still; this was absolutely awful and I thought it was going to be permanent.

I'm on 450mg of bupropion and 600mg of lithium (split into 2 doses daily) and this seems to have made the anhedonia go away. Either that or it just went away on its own, I'm not really sure. I definitely feel less depressed about the whole situation and I have motivation for daily tasks and goals. I'm finally able to use my phone again

I still have some of the more annoying symptoms like not being able to feel substances and the sexual dysfunction / genital numbness. Hoping those will get better in a few months, I really want to feel nicotine again

Anyway I bought a bunch of supplements to hopefully speed up my recovery: vitamin B complex, NAC, uridine monophosphate, omega-3, PQQ, CoQ10

I might add some other things later like zinc and mucuna pruriens.

Your very early in your recovery, but these supplement really helped me at 10 months

And demonic families who send there when it was not needed
I agree. It shouldn't be like this in the first place. Psychiatry, as it exists today, needs fundamental reform. There are far too many misdiagnoses, injustices, and lives that have been turned upside down. It's hard to believe we're living in the 21st century, yet in some ways the cruelty can still feel reminiscent of the earliest days of psychiatric institutions. I hope that one day real progress will be made, and this dark chapter of psychiatry will finally come to an end

Tell your psychiatrist.
You would rather pretend to practice evidence based medicine than admit that the medical system you dedicated your entire life is based on fraud.

The B vitamins helped me a lot, although I received them as intramuscular injections. I was also taking omega-3 at the same time, but I don't think I noticed much of an effect from it. What helped me the most, though, was time. I started noticing improvements after about six months.
By the way, I also received three injections. Hang in there!

That sounds really unsettling — to have recovered and then feel that shift. Have you noticed anything that seems to make it worse or better, or is it pretty constant?
Well I read that chronic thc abuse daily all day when it’s not a full spectrum product such as distillate if it’s in EXTREME doses like I was taking it can kinda blunt dopamine over time I abused it for 2.5 years daily right when I started to recover and read it can take 3 months to fully return when you stop abusing it

I abuse weed too to not feel pain

Does anyone have any experience with carbamazepine/tegretol for clearing out invega? I just got prescribe it. Apparently it works like a much stronger St. John’s wort. Does anybody know if this will help? I’m one month off 2 loading doses hoping this hell will end

Has anyone experienced the panicky akathesia side effect on weed and had it go away? When I smoke weed I feel really bad and I don’t want that to be forever, I know it lasts a while

I use rimficin which is like a stronger version of it. It's showed on invega information using rimficyin or carbamazepine might reduce invega effect. So you can try and use it. I personally didn't see much effect

It feels so strange to never get tired now, I have to just intentionally go to bed and sleep

I don't get hunger or thirst signals either, nor the sensation of being full

I don't really feel tired either—just a slight drowsiness late at night. My sleep schedule is still completely off, and I can't fall asleep before midnight. My sense of hunger only started coming back recently, and even then it's very faint. I don't know when all of this will recover, but I'm really hoping to see some kind of progress, because this isn't living—it's just existing, or a poor imitation of life.

Perhaps this experience is meant to teach all of us to appreciate our emotions and the freedom to express them. I realize now how carefree I was before all of this happened—getting involved with the wrong people and placing my trust in those who didn't deserve it. Looking back, I think I would have been the happiest person in the world simply living a quiet, peaceful life. Back then, I had no idea how precious it was just to be healthy, not to spend months waiting to recover. I was so happy, and it's heartbreaking to realize that I didn't truly understand or appreciate it. Instead, I wasted my energy worrying about trivial things. I guess you only truly understand the value of something when you have something to compare it to. This has been the most painful lesson I could have learned
