If I can recall you mentioned you somewhat enjoyed a hike you went on?

Maybe combining this with gym and supplements may help. I’m not giving advice, just a thought. What’s hard is not knowing anybody who has been injected with invega. Having a community of people gathering together who are suffering going out for walks or something could help healing. I’ve had six injections- I’m unsure if I will heal but I do know my suffering is reduced as I’m at the gym now for the first time in six months. Also going outside in nature for walks helps me somewhat although small. My cognition is gone completely and I feel like I have to learn to read all over again. This is tough.
Things like exercise, nature and walks helped me for a while but after some time I’ve just grown impatient I guess. It doesn’t help me recover it just helps me cope with the pain in the moment.

I also can’t do small talk anymore. Can’t come up with things to say my mind is just blank and I’m not natural in conversations. Incredibly awkward. It’s devastating.

By the Moment i wake up and i open my eyes it start a full ringing noise aka tinnitus on my ears and i immediately feel the risperidone damage on my cognition, perception, soul and body.

I miss waking up, making a coffee and make a joint, do my daily gaming quests then go to gym.

I’m sorry this happened to you. We are victims. I pray that you are able to return to that one day.

That’s a good way to put it. I feel the same way with my daily walks around the lake. I’m hoping though as time goes on they help me recover. Sorry you’re going through such a hard time. My mornings are horrifying. I can relate. Some people take longer to heal, I think if you hold on a little get some endorphins from being outside and hold on for another 3 months you may start to heal.

But then again this is coming from me who is in early stages/ only 1 month and 6 days from my last injection. I had 6 shots. I hope I heal

When we was in the psych ward they literally bombed our brain with whatever they had and this is not fair in my opinion, you cannot give 3-5 different drugs to someone in the same time for a long period, then inject him with a hell powerful antipsicotic like your goal is literally to first destabilize his brain then to knock it off forever like dude just slow down and breath you are literally destroying my brain

We need to share all stories of people you spoke to and their recovery journeys. I will start.....

Spoke to a girl who said she recovered from 3 injections of invega after 5 months. She said she was suicidal for 4 months. Said she regularly exercised waterfit for 2 hours a day. Says her entire personality is mostly back except does not feel alcohol.

Spoke to aguy with 2 injections of invega. Said he felt recovery after 8 months. But still is impatient and lacking motivation.

Spoke to a guy who had only one injection and says he is 90% recovered after 10 months.

A guy says he recovered from 8 injections in 12 months, attributes it to regular marijuana smoking.

A woman with pschizophrenia says she recovered from 2 injections in 12 months. Became more quiet than before.

Read the story of a guy who had 2 injections and in the 7th month had recovery, says more athletic than before.

My recovery story: 2injection of risperdal consta 50 mg - 14 months to get 10% recovery. So May After 28 months i Will be 20%, then I assume my full recovery Will take 10’years or so..

The most impressive recovery story that I take inspiration from is @Serhat.

He had like 10 injections and recovered in 10 months. My month 4 he was already 40% healed. I hope I can succeed and I have hope when I read that. Right now I’m suffering, but forcing physical activity, gym cleaning (house chores) and getting my daily walks in.

The drug has to run its course. At 1 month and 6 days you likely haven’t felt the full effect yet. It takes about 3-6 months after quitting for the drug to reach its full effect. Cause right now the drug is still building up in your system- as it is a reservoir that slowly dissolves.

My thinking is slightly more clear now than it was a couple months ago so I think there is some improvement but I’m not certain on that because some things feel worse.

I feel the effects of alcohol and weed less so now than when I was 2-3 months off the injection. Seems like the way this drug works is very complicated and as time goes on it settles in or something. I’m not sure when things will actually start turning around for me.

When I see people talk about percentage healed I am always skeptical. I’m not sure how to measure that. Some days I feel 50% better and other days I feel 10%. It’s confusing. Until I’m 100% back I don’t think I can use percentages to describe my recovery.

At month 3 I could still feel weed and alcohol. At month 9 I can’t feel alcohol and barely feel weed. It’s really weird. I’m afraid my receptors are just shot.

Thanks for this. Important information, it seems it’s going to be a long journey.

The girl i spoke to said she was suicidal for 4 months before feeling recovery in month 5. Was also on vynase, dont know if that helped. Some people have very slow recovery and suddenly big change. I think when the drug is exiting the system there are withdrawals and rebound of the issue.

How many injections for you, what dosage, and how long has it been?
