Yeah nah, invega breaks down in the body as paliperidone so it’s just adding more poison to your body. Having a relaxing, consistent sleep schedule helps me sleep. Cold shower to burn off cortisol, calming sleep tea, lavender oil on pillow, then I listen to a podcast that’s interesting but not interesting enough to stay awake for. Set alarms to go to sleep at the same time and alarms to wake up at the same time. Good sleep hygiene matters while recovering 💯

May I ask if you’re needing medication for it now being past three months off invega? I’m just curious because I’m one month from my last injection and hope around the three month mark it goes away naturally.

I get it bro, but I need to taper something I’ve had insomnia for 2 months not 48 hours I’ve been awake

Even if I take 1 pill now just to sleep,
You’re telling me my recovery will be even worse?

Bro I don’t even know what I’m recovering from…

Looking to get on risperadal awaiting for doctor to approve that as I can taper that.

I’m not a doctor. I just need help in getting sleep again and clearly me not taking this medication is doing this to me … WTF
 
My brain literally feels cooked.
I was laying in bed for exactly a hour and a half just a moment ago just to realise how long I was in bed without reaching REM sleep. normally I dose off in 10-15 mins.

How do I fall asleep again damn

Nah not taking it now but still have a bottle of it. I think I took the benzotropine for maybe a month or so after they lowered the dose to 75 and the akathisia went away as my body adjusted to the invega I assume. Akathisia is pretty serious and I do recommend getting something for it so it doesn’t drive you mad
 
I’m trying to be cold turkey I don’t want anymore in my system I don’t want to be an addict or on any pills or any drugs in my life, this is a calling for me to quit cannabis as well: truly.

Cause like any addiction it strips us from life’s purpose and we could really use this time and energy into better things.

I just can’t find a way to doze off and I don’t even want to take the sleeping meds it doesn’t feel natural and only sent me to about 2 hrs sleep

That sounds like akathisia you should have been treated for it. I got it from latuda and self treated it with clonazepam and morphine

I haven’t slept in 2 months my brother,

I’m 3 months now still early windows

It says up to 6 months

My akathisia went so it makes me believe my blocked nose will go.

But the sleep bro this is torture ??
 
Before this injection I would listen to things study hard write for hours on end have fun, social life, speak to women, go university now I’m fucked.
How do I sleep please guys is it just me that’s stuck awake trying to find away to put this misery to rest.

Invega gave me almost total insomnia. It went away eventually. I understand your suffering. Imo not being able to sleep is the worst effect of these medications.

Ask your doctor for some sleeping pills and if you can get some atrovent for your blocked nose

Yeah it’s 2+ months so far for me. How long did you have it for and I’m talking literally 0 hours deep sleep my body feels broken.

Worse thing is I can’t take too much or I’ll get addicted
What is this life aha

I really need my receptors to come back in and start working

I get 30 zopiclone a month and ive always found with it that as long as you take breaks dependance isnt really a issue with it. I have not seen to many cases of actual zopiclone addiction now that i think of it.

But all the same becareful wth t
