im stupid ass shit, why am i doing 10 mg edibles when im only few months since last hospitlization . If im hospitlized again they will officially change my diagnosis to schizophrenia and cto me for a long time. Thank god i have a bottle of abilify in case i start to go crazy again which is unlikely but possible.

You need to be sober while coming off depots..

Hopefully not. Do you have a psychiatrist who's responsible for you/ you follow up with after your shots? Getting in contact and building a system of trust or at least understanding, with the person responsible for extending your CTO will do wonders for getting off. Is this your 2nd CTO? If not you should be okay
Yes i see the same psychiatrist. This is my second CTO. I am very polite and compliant.

Nice, it might be beneficial to mention your findings about the damage of antipsychotics. Psychiatrists probably know about it but silently believe the reward of being chemical lobotomized and thus helping “manage” our psychotic symptoms outweighs the dangers that come with taking antipsychotics. People are surprisingly human when they’re the ones who are to a degree responsible for the administration. If you complain enough they’re likely to lower the dosage too, and if you stay affluent and intellectually engaged with them it’ll make them believe you’re more qualified to get off the medicine. It’s a pinch of elitism sprinkled into the approach of getting off these meds but I wonder how valuable staying compliant without also staying vigilant about your position will be.

You probably have to be your greatest advocate and make sure they know you’re gonna be safe once you get off the CTO. If you don’t change the narrative to be about your own personal intellect and circumstance then they’ll continue to use the historical record of this being your 2nd CTO against you and may keep you on it for longer than necessary. Shit will get scary if they extend it another time like you said.

I took 6 tokes of my bro’s spliff last night and got very high @Trueart2. All working fine.

Nice, I’m unsure of how it works with Abilify but the ability to get high is a good thing regardless. Stay strong and continue hitting it up every once in a while especially after another subsequent injection. Abilify has a shorter half-life then Invega too, so once you get off you’ll be able to recover much quicker than us on Invega who are stuck waiting 6-10 months for it to completely leave our system, in addition to it being potentially forever damaging to some. It doesn’t seem like Abilify has the same dangers of Invega thankfully.

I would be selfish and say try smoking to test your receptors. But I understand you don’t want your family smelling the weed, and additionally this would be your 4th weed induced psychosis. The reality of your situation is you’re a human in a perilous situation. Attempting to make the best out of it and you’re clinging onto any hope or comfort that may make your situation slightly more manageable, than what it currently is.

I don’t think they’ll diagnose you as schizophrenic for drug induced psychosis, but I’m not a doctor and I was diagnosed as schizophrenia. I did hear voices, and my psychosis got worse as they kept feeding me antipsychotics. The point is your human and you’re likely going to rehash taking 10 mg edibles in the near future as you have been doing for months at this point. Stay relaxed and take action for yourself that’s beneficial for your future.

I keep gaining weight it’s making no sense. Fuck this drug. I’m barely even eating that much.

Thankyou bro. My dose should be getting lowered after a couple more injections. Hoping I feel better after that.

I don’t think Abilify is as dangerous as Invega as it doesn’t fully shut down dopamine activity. I had a friend in hospital who took Abilify injections for around 15 months and he was back to normal 5 months off the shots. This gives me hope.

It’s been 8-9 months for you. The weight is gonna go away by working out and exercise it won’t magically disappear for a long time unfortunately. The shots are posion

I don’t have much to say but I’m responding for activity of the thread sake.

Keep pushing man, as long as you keep complaining about the dosage they cannot ignore you. They’ll be forced to either switch you(which is something they want to avoid) or they’ll be forced to lower the dosage. That’s how it works and I’m on court order so it should be the same thing

Got work, only 4 more hours left. Half of the job is done. Only 4 more to go, feeling really tired today. Haven’t ate anything, it’s a cloudy day so no sunlight coming through the windows either.

Additionally I’m becoming more confident in my cognition as of late, slight improvements to my ability to write have been a surprising glee in my life.

Don't, it won't help. I think invega can make getting addictions easier too.

banana is gonna reach out for something, just watchout for falling back into psychosis @rawbanana.

I recommend weed although, you can test your receptors. But you haven’t complained about cognitive dulling to my knowledge, what’s still wrong with you at month 8/9 @rawbanana

Getting this injection turns your life into actual insanity and since you can't be interested in anything time doesn't go by fast.
