what do you mean you had to give them up? can you get them back? and this'll pass over eventually. hopefully sooner than later. but in the meantime try not to focus on happiness and enjoyment. it'll make your days darker since you'll only focus on and be disheartened by what you lack. i know that made an impact on me. try to focus on being strong instead. you'll find peace and empowerment in strength, and for the time being it'll replace happiness. hopefully you can feel it. can't wait to see you recover and move on from this page though. i'm really looking forward to it. all this will just be a memory and you won't be counting the days anymore. you'll no longer be waiting for windows and you'll be back to your old life. hopefully your time comes soon. i know it's a long road, but just stay strong. it's not forever. i pray these days just go by in the blink of an eye and next thing you know you're back to normal just like the number of people who've recovered in under a year. have you noticed any subtle changes after getting off or is it all still the same?
and what was the mg you took btw?
I took 234,156, 156, 116. Nothing has changed I feel horrible ever since. Yeah I hope I make it

some hefty mgs you took. someone here took a 234 and a 156 and recovered in 6 months. but damn, no changes? hopefully that changes next month. i prayed you'd recover next month but only time will tell. the good thing is you don't get alot of windows meaning once you start getting windows you're close to recovery; i think atleast. i've only seen people have a couple or few windows then they're recovered. i had 3 windows with sleep before it recovered. so you could only be a couple windows away from complete recovery.

Less brain life, she said her emotions arent back, etc.

blows my mind how she hasn't recovered. unless she's got poor health/metabolism and poor brain physiology. other than that i don't really see how she hasn't recovered. 2-4mg leaves the system per day. maybe it just caused damage and that's why she hasn't recovered. idk what to do about that but i really want to help. can she atleast get high or drunk? tell her to try adderall. it boosts serotonin and dopamine i think. Paula had a window a day after she took adderall despite it giving her paranoia. idk if it was a genuine window or if it was because of the adderall.

I found an article that I think may be helpful to some here recovering from Invega. Based on it and other information I've received, it sounds to me that you may make a faster recovery from Invega Sustenna if you burn off the fat where it's being stored in your body. I think I've gained over 50 pounds while being on this drug. I think I may start fasting and exercising now. I think burning the fat where Invega is stored causes it to be released into your system. There's a user here who I think said that he experienced the effects of Invega again for a few weeks after going for a run.

Here's the article:

Here are some excerpts:
"It is hypothesized that, particularly for these 2 cases, the consistent low positive results for paliperidone so long after the paliperidone therapy was stopped could be because of the storage of paliperidone in fat tissues, as these patients were clinically obese (body mass index >30), and because paliperidone is sparingly soluble in water (8) and therefore favors a lipid environment. The random and intermittent negative results among the positive trend for these patients could be because of several reasons. In particular, the hydration status of the patient at the time of urine collection could affect the paliperidone concentration, resulting in a value just below the reporting cutoff of 5 ng/mL. In addition, whether there was recent exercise or a lack thereof could affect the concentration if paliperidone is in fact being sequestered in the fat of these patients. "

"TAKEAWAYS
  • Both risperidone and paliperidone are antipsychotic medications used to treat patients with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. In the human body, paliperidone could be from either the metabolite of risperidone or the parent drug itself.
  • Paliperidone can potentially stay in the body, particularly in overweight patients, for >3 years even after therapy has ceased.
  • Physicians should carefully ask for medication history, even as far back as 3 years ago, to rule out nonadherence to prescriptions, particularly for patients with low positive results."
I hope this helps.

maybe. online it says a urinalysis can check for paliperidone. all hospitals have access to that form of testing.
I think you're right. Does the urinalysis give an estimated amount of how much of the drug is in your system?

i said that because it's excreted renally but only 59% of the medication is excreted through piss so it wouldn't be an accurate measure. i just talked to my nurse and she said that it'd be a blood test if they could test invega. idk if they can test for invega though. i'm going to find that out in a couple of weeks.

Well, let me know what you find. Send me a message or something.

I also think I've noticed another area where I've recovered today. I weighed myself and it seems like I'm no longer gaining weight at the same rate as I was when I was receiving regular Invega shots. Weight gain seems to have slowed down significantly. It's not huge to me, but it's something at least.

Ya.....
So if it takes 300 days max to get rid of invega and it its half lives...
What is taking so long for the recovery to happen?
I mean I'm starting to think that after 3 years off a one shot dose... if you haven't recovered....
It's probably not going to come.
I mean whatwould be the reason why someone wouldn't recover after 3 years off 1 shot?

Did you read the article that I posted? Here was one of the excerpts:

I think it may take longer for overweight/obese people to recover from Invega because of how Invega stores in fat in the body. For an overweight/obese person, it could be that the fat that stores Invega is being burnt and releasing the drug into the system at a slower rate because of how much fat there is in their body. I'm speculating though and I don't know a lot about how fat is burned.

For these people you are talking about that haven't recovered after long periods of time, have you asked them if they're overweight or obese? That could be part of the problem.

some people take years to recover but it's always under 10 years. never once have i seen a recovery take longer than 10 years and i look fucking deep. 6-8 years is the most i've seen. pretty sure i looked everywhere too. but they could have bad brain physiology, slow metabolism, could have a lot of fat that can store invega, etc.

Ya some of them are overweight.... if 3 years come and go and I haven't improved I will probably be exhausted. I mean I'm never going to throw in the towel because i don't have choice. If recovery does happen we will understand life on a level that is pretty insane. I can handle the suffering... I just want it to eventually end. You would think their would be lawsuits from the people that have recovered... guess not. Maybe big pharma is too powerful..
Maybe lawyers dont care until gynomastia.
How great will be the joy when and if I can feel a Sunday afternoon again....

Can invega store in the brain?
Mann..... it just is unreal...
Will I ever enjoy a walk or TV show ever again? Hmmm.....

all i know is it gets stored in fat and people who end up exercising relive the invega as the invega gets released. i've seen a couple people have this happen to them.
and yeah, you'll enjoy that shit again. just takes a long fucking time which is ridiculous.
