If you have less fat will that make the paliperdone more potent? I'm trying to be patient but man this isnt letting up.
How long should 1 shot take to have trace amounts?

does anyone know about this guys story? I think it has been about 4 years for him or so.
I guess he isn't really healing or something man today I am going through the worst.
it feels like at a young age of 25 my life is over.
the last memory I really have is of getting the injection sometimes I really do think this is like
a chemical lobotomy.

If you develop positive coping habits, you'll get over this much faster. If you're worrying like this, then you may have too much time on your hands, not spent productively. This is called rumination. People who constantly worry without really putting some healthful measures in their schedule will be all the worse for it. Again, this can happen to basically anyone. Develop positive habits. Make sure you're hygienic, socialize, read a good book, meditate or do breathing techniques, adopt a healthful diet, walk, exercise. These are all things that tend to bring a state of healthy well-being.

ya im struggling pretty bad man im losing hope I lost my cool in society and freaked out about the materialism of our society and it ended up screwing me pretty bad.
im about 3 months in. im hoping at about 6 months in i experience some hope that recovery is possible and at 1 year i am hoping to be partially recovered. By two years i Hope this
is just a story of how I once was disabled form poison and recovered. I really hope this expiernce just becomes another story I have to tell people when im an old man about how i recoverd from poison injections
for yelling about God in the street as a young foolish man.
Does Brain go back to high strength? I am praying that this illness is just a season.

I need help. I have heard so many stories now about Invega Sustenna.
Some people say you heal. Some say they don't. It just doesn't add up.
Will the damn drug ever leave? its not right some people will commit a crime and end
up in "jail" tonight for a crime commited. i wish i was healthy and not on invega and in jail.
that would be a real treat. Invega feels like a stolen i would rather have done 2 years in jail
than gotten on invega if 2 years is how long it last.
I miss my days of having my D2 receptors free. WTF is this shiii?

I'm still finding study incredibly challenging. I can be sitting in front of my laptop for 2 hours and only come up with 100 words or so for an essay. I wish I could do more but I just don't have the mental capacity. It does serve as a good way to pass the time, however, as it requires some degree of concentration.

Exercise is incredibly challenging, my body just doesn't want to be pushed at all. I'm finding going for long walks a good compromise. Hoping for some kind of improvement at 3 months and just trying my hardest to keep occupied in the meantime.

192 days since my last shot... not really any improvement. No motivation/ no purpose/ no sex drive/ so social life/ weak/ tired/ lifeless

see you lucky you can go for walks the police in my neighborhood have targeted me
for mental illness. I am scared to go out because some guy said this was his hood and
got me locked in an institution. Sex drive has improved a little

That's better than no words.

Baby steps. Incremental improvements. Long walks are actually one of my favourite exercise modes. Sure, it's lacking in cardio, but a leisurely walk through the park in the sunshine is usually a calming, centering activity. Almost meditative.

Another thing to consider is music. Music is a well known means of promoting natural dopamine release and elevating mood. Some musical accompaniment along your studying, or during exercise, or even just during chores/downtime, can drastically improve your mood and concentration.

I would also suggest that allowing yourself to experience a little bit of hedonism is probably worthwhile too. Mix yourself a fine cocktail, go hook up with someone on Tinder, even just go whack off or something. Maybe go thrill-seeking - bungie jumping, parachuting, hang-gliding, kitesurfing, parkour, or whatever gets your adrenaline and endorphins moving. (Limit the hookers and cocaine though!)

Another source of pleasure could be adopting a pet (or volunteering to foster care for one). Lots of people find that a living, breathing, animal that depends on them for food, shelter, and friendship gives them a sense of perspective, a concrete reason to keep living, and something to look forward to every day. Plenty of people are fine with letting their own life go to shit, but won't stand to inflict even mild discomfort on an animal.

Despite popular belief, dopamine is the "novelty" neurotransmitter (and not the happy/feel-good neurotransmitter) - released when your brain gets an unexpected reward, and predisposes you to repeat whatever you did to cause said release. A classic study shows that rats get maximum dopamine release if they press a lever and only 50% of the time a reward is given. In the case of a reward being given every time the rat presses the lever, you actually get very little DA release at all.(ref)

Is it D2 how exactly is it that inches makes everything so unejoyable.
It's like life used to have meaning now it feels shut off. Is thinking back on inches after recovery usually just like a bad trip or something?

What’s the happy feel good neurotransmitters? I feel like those are blocked the most... what speeds the recovery process??

What’s the happy feel good neurotransmitters?

There isn't any one specific feel-good chemical. Serotonin, dopamine, acetylcholine, & norepinephrine all play a role in emotions, as do endorphins. There are no supplies of "happy chemicals" that we could rely on to fix our emotional issues, unfortunately.

I would think that the blockade of dopamine D2 receptors plays a role in why Invega victims feel like their recreational activities are pointless. Dopamine release has been recently proven to be a factor in how we decide what's worth expending effort on (or not). Lack of normal DA activity leads your brain to decide "[activity X] is pointless, why even bother, you're not going to get anything worthwhile outt of the experience" - even where "activity X" is something you previously considered fun.

One study showed that amphetamine will reverse the antidopaminergic effects of haloperidol, and restore motivation in rats: an injection of haloperidol 48 h before treatment, followed by saline 10 min before test, significantly reduced preference for high reward/high-effort arm, giving the same haloperidol injection followed by amphetamine 10 min before testing blunted the effect of haloperidol, and completely recovered preference for high reward/high-effort arm (Bardgett et al., 2009). Evidence therefore points to amphetamine's ability to overcome the effects of DA blockade induced by haloperidol. (ref)

I'd bet that'd work for Invega too. That said, giving someone on an antipsychotic regular doses of amphetamine could end rather poorly, especially if the Invega is ctually being used to treat schizophrenia or other delusions/behavioral problems. It's not something I would recommend every Invega user consider: ideally you'd use amphetamine as a stop-gap to get your lifestyle back on track, to get through the extra gray days. Amphetamine use won't be a silver bullet miracle cure - it won't produce permanent changes in functioning - but if used responsibly could help you get through the 6 months of waiting.

Other dopaminergic stimulants might also work. 3-fluorophenmetrazine, methylphenidate, 2-FA, maybe even some of these cathinone RCs. I'd avoid cocaine and methamphetamine for obvious reasons. Another idea maybe would be to get on Wellbutrin (buproprion) - it's a NDRI drug and can help boost the amount of norepinephrine/dopamine in the synapses. Even caffeine may be worth a try.

Just be careful, and be mindful. Taking a potent stimulant to counteract a potent antipsychotic could end negatively if you're reckless wih dosing. You just might end up with a stimulant dependency afterwards! Stick to the milder compounds (caffeine before methylphenidate, methylphenidate before amphetamine, Dexedrine before Adderall) and keep doses low. Only dose when you really need a boost. You know the drill.

what speeds the recovery process??

Aerobic exercise, a healhy diet, plenty of novelty. And time, lots of time.

thanks for the info! Means a lot 🙏

Horrible misery this morning. This drug is truly awful. I can't wait for two years to be over so I can be free! Free of this monster!!!!!

Using prison to market a schizophrenia drug. Pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson has received a go-ahead from federal regulators to promote a drug called Invega Sustenna, an antipsychotic medicine the FDA says may potentially keep schizophrenics out of prison or jail. That conclusion is based on a study where patients who received a monthly dose of the drug ended up incarcerated less often than those who took a daily pill for their illness. (My conclusion is that People who take daily oral Invega end up in prisons on this study and when they are put on a monthly Invega Sustenna injection they are less likely to go to prison than someone who takes daily oral invega. Invega Sustenna is supposed to be injected into people that need to be hospitalized for an injection every 30 days and people that are arrested and detained by the police every 30 days for the purpose of a an Injection. Here's the catch they don't go to prison or jail or incarceration because they are sent to a mental health facility every 30 days for the purpose of an injection.)

this is why I'm scared to go outside the police just rolling up on me and forcing me to take these injections because I have all ready been labeled "schitzoaffective"

People taper off this drug differently..
I got injected twice late december and early january, and stopped taking it because I noticed I wasn’t feeling myself. I had the worst side effects like screaming and crying from how much pain I was in all january and february. By March I stopped crying and screaming but I was still pacing all the time and felt slow and suicidal. By early april I could sleep better and my semen wasn’t watery anymore but still wasn’t a lot like it was. Now today I’d say I feel almost 100% because everyone around me notices like my girlfriend and my family. But my god I thought this shit was forever and I wanted to kill myself for so long. Now I’m not having that weird back pain and stiffness that invega does to you and my semen and orgasm is a looot better but not completely there.. (maybe 2 more months and it will be) but a lot damn better and I can enjoy movies and shit again.. The worst part is while on invega I neglected my dog because I didn’t give a fuck about anything. But now I’m getting myself back into old hobbies and my god it feels so good..
Just know that it does definitely wear off and you will feel back to normal with time.. I did and by two months I might make a recovery video because there isn’t that much info on the internet about recovery.
