Awww I past my 5th half life fuck ya, Damn I'm so anxious to pass the next 49 days for my 6th half life I'm thinking once that happens everything will improve more, then maybe all receptors will recycle. I kmow invega stores in fat but I think it will be such a small amount I it wont effect me

Anyway I'll update u guys when I pass this next half life
6 half-lives is how many months? That u been off injection?

I haven’t really been on the forum as of late because it frustrates me that I see others improving and I’m not. (Although I am happy for you all) I’m two weeks away from a year since my last injection (5 total) and I have seen no improvement.

Did the improvements just happen overnight and you felt the difference? (For those who have seen improvement)

Are you all back to working?
Can I ask you something? How is the invega hurting you? What are your symptoms? Are u severely deppresion? Do u get suicidal thoughts? Is your pain severe? Is it head aches or body pains? What isn't improving exactly?

Have you recovered? Do u have any head aches? Deppresion? Did u have Any phycosis due to receiveing the injection? How do u feel now after 2 long years? Little better or allot better?

Nope I haven't fully recovered and i never will.

Headaches to be honest I never really had headaches on invega or throughout the withdrawal progress from it. Nope I didn't have any psychosis from the injections. I didn't really have psychosis to begin with maybe not 100% sure on that last part. I do feel better some what but not like my old self. It's almost like I have had a brain transplant the old brain is no longer there if that makes sense? I remember that 2/3 weeks after the loading dose. I forgot my old self it's super hard to explain in English words because there's is no words to explain it in English. The first 9 months maybe more I had severe depression yes.

I hope people live in peace recovery for me is soon I feel better day after day it's like new life for me I don't lose my memory my motivation is better don't lose hope

I have been off this med for 4 years now my symptoms never went away. I have a very bad anxiety i need lots of help. I suffer from anxiety, whining attacks. IS theres till hope to recover?

Hey Tina,

Yes. There is totally and completely hope to recover to a good state of mind. But it takes some discipline to develop proactive habits that willl help get you there.

Start with a daily walk and listen to some guided meditation on youtube. Try to limit processed carbs and sugar. Also veer away from too much social isolation. I think it's our relationships with others that largely determines our satisfaction in this world.

We would love to hear about your progress.

Remember, it takes about a month of doing something daily for it to become habit.

Catch yourself when you catastrophize. Things are all so bad as you may think.

Try out new hobbies. Do good deeds for others.

There are lots of ways that you can speed up to your eventual state of closure and well-being.

Xanax works for me. I've been off only 5 months and I feel like I'll never be the same.

A bit over 5 months since my last injection now. I received 2 injections. I feel a lot better to be honest. The only symptoms I have right now that are caused by invega is the weight gain and some mild derealization. Anxiety, depression, earworms, racing thoughts, insomnia, restlessness, aches, nightmares, low libido, genital numbness, erectile dysfunction, anorgasmia, akathisia, difficulty concentrating, having no motivation etc. are all completely gone now. I'd say I'm 85-90% of what I was pre-invega right now. I've gained my appreciation of life back. I kinda feel like I'm ready to go back to work again. And from my experience I can tell you that recovering from this poison really is possible. I'm just 5 months off the injections and I'm feeling this good so I bet at month 10 I'll be back to normal me. I feel like bupropion is the main reason I've recovered so fast. Most of the symptoms caused by invega is because we don't have enough free dopamine in the brain. Bupropion inhibits dopamine reuptake so there will be more free dopamine in the synapses. If you suffer from any of the symptoms I no longer have, I really suggest to try and get a prescription for bupropion.

How many shots did you get? And I really suggest trying bupropion for the anxiety, that was a HUGE help for me

Wow dude Its like your talking about me and all my symptoms are the same. Especially anhodenia and deppression. I'm also on Wellbutrin xl and it totally saved my life. Good for you bro. I had three shots of that shyt and I've been off for almost 6months now and I too can say I'm much better. I'm not completely cured but it's a good start. Finally have relief. Can I ask you do you smoke weed by any chance?

6 half-lives is how many months? That u been off injection?
2 more days I'll hit 9 months and then this next month on the 20th I'll hit 10 months so 300 days.. I always counted on 49 days being the half life, I wanna be Damn sure this garbage is out of me... Now people have told me like on YouTube and surviving antidepressants that people usually feel better around 9 to 12 month's, and I'm doing ok I'm at a point were I can watch movies and ply video games. Everything dosent feel pointless anymore, I'm thinking things will get better and better, but I get made sometimes cuz I'm improving and feeling better but I want more lol so I remind myself just to patient

@Invegakillsme Invega has pretty much altered my entire existence. I don’t have any thoughts, no emotions, no libido, no motivation or desire. I have not enjoyed one moment of my life since my third injection. I do not get tired, I do not have an appetite or get hungry, I am in only one mood, which is flat. I am also not able to cry, although I want to a lot. I went 8 months without sleep. I usually go to sleep around 6/7 in the morning now and wake up around 10/11. Like this past night I went to sleep around 10:40 am. I can’t take naps. I can’t get happy, sad, angry, mad, it’s just like I’m stuck

@Malakoff honestly man if it was that simple I would have been able to adjust 5 to 6 months ago. I don’t have energy to workout. I don’t have any thoughts to produce any conversation around anyone outside of trying to think of questions to ask. I go walking with my mom every once and a while I was consistent at one point but it did not improve anything for me. I talk to one of my friends once a week now and we talk for hours but it still does not benefit me at all. It just make me more disappointed. I apply for jobs (even thought I don’t feel capable of working in a high pace environment) mind you I received my bachelors degree in business marketing 3 months before all of this took place (diagnosis and beginning on injections) I was full of life before this all transpired. I used to read a lot as well which I don’t do much now.

All in all, coming back on here and seeing you all have improvements I am happy for you all but I’ve been in this situation pretty much a year with no improvement. My mom is over it and talking about putting me in a facility bc there has been no progression so it’s getting serious for me. I research so much but there is little information on detoxes for this medicine. I honestly don’t know what to do. But I do know, if something doesn’t change soon. I’m just going to have to ask God to forgive me because I can’t take seeing everyone live their life while I’m stuck bc of some medication I received June of last year. Like it just doesn’t make any sense. I will kill my self if something doesn’t happen within the next 3-6 months. Oh yeah @Invegakillsme I don’t really have thoughts of suicide or depression but in the beginning I just really wanted to die to get away from this which hasn’t changed much since.
