I persobnnally like to take the niacin. Right after, I go for a run (20 min to an hour at most) then take a hot bath. It has at least improved my sleep.
Btw, I'm 84 days off. A week away from three months.

meditation will help, it might take awhile but it will help. the brain is often the hardest to help recover from trauma. everything you do that is positive will help the recovery process. nurture this one day at a time.

over excreting of saliva and dry mouth comes and goes. drooling starts at the very beginning usually and dry mouth soon sets in and lasts during much of the zombie phase while other parts of your physiological system slowly become accustomed to the new way of existing as well. too much saliva comes towards the end of the healing process as the body re-harmonizes back to it's original state of being.

jaw dropping and other muscle issues has been known to happen. stiff muscles are usually the most noticeable and persisting effects/symptom but motor functions related to certain parts of the brain and the nervous system happen due to interference of the poison on our system as a whole. it's not just targeting the brain but has an unintended large side effect on the body as well. being attentive of this prevents it from becoming an unconscious habit and slowly stops it from happening over time.

My sex drive came back for a hot second then poof gone.... Also, I'm hot, cold, sweaty. I swear my hands, feet and pits are so sweaty. My hands are kinda shimmery looking. @invegauser is this part of the shot?

Yea the side of my face droops, but literally only every 50 days.. its weird. And i used to drool after 6 months being on the shot. I dont anymore.

@steph78 i thought u forgot about us! Jk but i have weird sweating issues too. Primarily my feet, especially when im eating or doing any minor physical exertion. And my sex drive was back around the 7th month, disappeared until maybe acouple days ago. I dont want to jinx this but i can see us still complaining around christmas...

Nooo! Don't say that. ?

Does anyone else have the symptom of being a male in his mid-30s with no family, voluntarily donating all of his unbridled attention to an internet forum about people recovering from antipsychotics? Am I the only one with this issue?

BL is pruning their servers. they are getting rid of the old stuff that is not needed and jamming things up. i've read their notice and they say things like the archived threads (coming off of invega sustenna v.1) will not be pruned. i have formally requested from the mental health mods that the original thread not be pruned as it contains good info as a resource for those who might be suffering from negative interactions in the future. god forbid that should continue to happen but just in case it's better to be safe than sorry. just wanted to let you all know we've done good here trying to help pass along the right info and i'm sure they will take this into consideration. thank you for your contributions to this thread (both v.1 and v.2).

that being said. sweating and skin changing appearance is noted by a few in the past. like anything else even though not everyone has posted in the thread it doesn't mean it hasn't happened and is not typical. i've also PM'd some people in the past who have had this happen. it is typical. my skin has drooped, become weathered looking like an old man and even taken on a fish scale like appearance (a tight, translucent rainbow in color, shimmery look to it.). we find this happening later in the game, the comedown process. it is a good sign in healing. our skin will fluctuate in appearance to adjust for being in a constant solid state due to the poison before it returns to it's natural state once fully healed. mine is doing this now and has been for a year or two. what i experience in years, the rest of you experience in months.

sweating is another typical comedown symptom. sure we've sweated before while on the poison but that was strictly for cooling purposes as needed. (i and others sweated less sometimes and noted this was most odd) during the end of the healing process our pores are returning to a more relaxed state of being and will be more active sometimes as our bodies get use to regulating internal pressure, temperatures and normal functions again. literally part of a comedown like any other drug or psych med.

our bodies have worked over time during the healing process. it has not been talked of late but one of the more dangerous side effects/withdrawal symptoms is over heating. very easy to do. be mindful of this while going through the comedown as well; rest and cool off as needed to help support and train your body to return to a homeostasis.

small glimpses or flares of things happening are another good sign. you suffer than hit a window. that window is not only a good thing to experience but a sign you are leaving the worse of the healing behind. next comes lil things flaring up here and there. it takes time to catch like a spark from a lighter or while igniting a fire. in time the positive aspects of the brain will start working more and more before one day they will be active like they use to again pre-poison and you will wake up fully healed.

i suck at both relating to people and less is more today, so bear with me.

first thing you need to check off your list is making sure your not sick.

if your not sick then most likely what you are experiencing is an intense withdrawal effect similar to what heroin users or opioid and benzo users go through when they quit. it is not unheard of from short term or average healers like yourself, it's just not as common. us long term healers struggle with it more. believe it or not i actually fiended (an uncontrollable urge to seek out more) for more of the poison for two days about 2 and a half years ago, that was right before i got over the hump in the healing process being a long term negative exception. psych meds are still drugs, they are just legal ones.

short of breath is low blood pressure usually associated with the poison. it hits at first and mostly during the zombie phase (that part where your arms go numb from holding them in the same position) but has been known to hit some during the last of the healing process. i and a few others have been through or are going through it, both short and long term healers. it's part of the adjustment of your body reaching homeo-stasis again. this too shall pass.

it basically sounds like your sick or your healing in short intense parts at a time. it is sudden and very scary but it is a good sign in healing. on the days this happens you need to respect your limits and do the best you can. reduce stress and take care of yourself. (i know how full your plate is from our PM's, all i'm saying is if it's not important then don't strain yourself on days like this.) they wont always happen. they will come and go like windows and waves do.

also look up info on paxil: possible interactions, side effects/withdrawal symptoms and any other first hand credible experience while on it.

it's going to be ok one way or the other. you were strong enough to get this far in the healing process. i have faith that you can make it the rest of the way. you will be healed and live your life again. hang in there.

Day 116. I honestly think I'm fully recovered, I don't notice any side effects anymore. Everything that I had a problem with went away. Some people on this thread may be tricking themselves into thinking they still have side effects by listing any little problem that is associated with their life and immediately attributing it to invega. I can honestly tell you in my personal experience, after only 2 injections, I do not currently feel any negative side effects at day 116. I'm probably not 100% fixed, maybe somewhere around 95% or 90% but I genuinely don't notice any substantial side effect that could affect my life in a detrimental way. Another reason why some people may still be noticing negative effects resides in how many injections you received. I had an initial loading dose of 234mg on April 20th, and a second dose of 234mg on April 27th. It took me about a week after the second injection to realize what was happening to my body, so I then started googling "how to get invega sustenna out of your body" and found copious amounts of forum posts with nearly replicable complications. What baffles me, is how someone can get 6 months worth of injections, or any amount above 3 months, you would think they would realize what's happening to their body within the first month or 2, like I did. For example, if the invega sustenna was as debilitating as "Steph78" claims, then why did you get 7 injections? Why did it take 7 injections for you to realize what's going on? I realized the anhedonia, akathisia, sexual side effects, etc after a week of getting my injection. I'm not trying to discredit the validity of Steph's posts, but it's confusing for me to wrap my head around the fact that you got 7 injections over a 6-month time-span. Were you completely fine the whole 6-months you were getting the invega injections? I certainly wasn't, which is why I stopped after 2 injections that were only one week apart.

Less than 4 months and you're 95 per cent recovered, that gives me a lot of hope! Thanks! I kind of agree with you but some people could be forced to get the injections so I can't fully agree. I also stopped after the two starter dosis because it brought hell. I'm nearly three months off and I swear I'll never ever take any of these crappy injections. If I have to fight in order to avoid this poison, I will.
