Did you have any improvements in these three years?I bought a couple of publicly safe blood tests just to get some relief from my withdrawal symptoms. I told myself that every time they drew a small amount of abilify saturated blood from me, my system would produce fresh, natural blood to flow independently. I also took an iron and, as stated before, vitamin C supplement to encourage more blood production. Some small tests I bought were the CMP (comprehensive metabolic panel), blood type, basic STD panel, and basic Diabetes panel (risk is higher when you're on antipsychotics).
The injection's primary attack point is your liver, people recommend taking St. John's Wort to increase production of CYP450, the enzyme that filters Ability and other xenometabolites from your system. Once your liver is better, you can feel less negative thoughts firing on their own.
Yes, all the vitamin B's help. In addition, I recommend glucosamine to fix your nerves. They're pretty frayed after all that trauma.
Abilify (and other antipsychotics) chemically reacts with your neurotransmitter (dopamine) _receptors_, not the neurotransmitters themselves. So your body might be producing the same amount of neurotransmitters as before, but you can't acknowledge it because your receptors are blocked. Intermittent fasting triggers a process called autophagy that clears out your blocked neurotransmitters and detoxes your body a little. To rebuild the receptors, you can take amino acids (you need all 20 basic ones) to surplus your supply and hope your genes and RNA can pump out the proteins corresponding to your receptors.
As hard as it was to admit to myself, I still had bipolar symptoms coming off of Abilify. I sequenced my DNA and found out that I can't produce PLCG1, a known protein for regulating bipolar disorder (you can google around for studies on it). The other 2 are AKAP11 and DISC1, which for me were still half intact. I have a 50% chance of producing structurally correct AKAP11 and DISC1, and 50% chance of producing the malformed version.
As for the lost cause, it turns out PLCG1 is produced by benign strains of e. coli, so I turned to the probiotic community for help. I googled around and bought and ate trehalose, a favorite food of benign e. coli, and it seemed to up my PLCG1 production from before.
Sorry it costs a lot of money (or maybe not, I won't assume your income level). But I hope my story is an anecdote that helps.
If this worked for you and you're willing to take it to the next level, the part I haven't gotten a chance to explore is using CRISPR to genetically engineer l. casei or e. coli to produce AKAP11 or DISC1. The idea is to knock in the human AKAP11 or DISC1 gene into the bacteria, then brew some probiotic yogurt from the modified strains. They live in your gut and supplement the lost AKAP11 and DISC1 proteins, and hopefully the symptoms can marginally improve. It's a long shot, but it's not complicated nor cost millions of dollars USD in practice. I choose not to investigate human CRISPR therapy because it's still too expensive right now. A couple milliliters of CRISPR materials costs a thousand dollars if you get the gene modification right. But your body needs more than milliliters to truly transform, so the final cost can get into the millions for all I know.
I might still die of suicide at the end. But I'm grateful for the relief, happiness, and humanity that I've regained so far. I've more than my fair share of good days in life, but I've always told myself I can contribute more to the conformist part of society if I feel better. Thanks for reading.
Oh shit that was really forgetful of me, haha.
2 injections 400mg each once per month non-voluntary or whatever they call it. Forced. It was 3 years ago.
You previously denied that normal bloating occurred when it obviously does for many but I'm glad to see you eat your words again«Studies indicate that up to two-thirds of patients treated with atypical antipsychotics experience impaired bone marrow density, leading to osteoporosis.»
^ this is not research that proves your face has been affected by invega, especially not short term after only a few years.
https://www.drugs.com/sfx/invega-side-effects.html
^ as far as this study goes, nothing implies anything other than normal bloating. Maybe water retention.
This drug causes weight gain and some of that fat bloats the face. There’s nothing permanent or about that.
I know it’s harder to lose weight on this drug, but I don’t believe it deforms your face it’s just fat gain.
Because I recovered and so did many others. It's nobody's fault but your own that you're choosing to focus on the lives of people who continue to take damaging medication instead of the many positive stories out there. If you're going to use the internet to convince yourself that you'll be like this forever instead of focusing on your own improvements over time you're setting yourself up for failure and psychosomatic symptomsHow the hell are u people still believing there is any hope for recovery?? I have read every post from reddit, quora, bluelight, youtube, and there is no hope for it. I dont know what to do with my life, it sucks
I never denied bloating as in fat or water retention, just the facial bone structure stuff! I said your genetics decide how fat is distributed. And your face goes back to normal when you lose the weight. Help me invega claims the drugs alter your face chemically, I said it’s from the weight gain. Clearly the weight can be lost anywhere on the body. <edited out unnecessary comment - SMod>You previously denied that normal bloating occurred when it obviously does for many but I'm glad to see you eat your words again
How many months have you been off invegaI don’t get it I weigh 108lbs but Invega Sustenna changed my facial structure so much and made me gain fat in weird areas I look nothing like my previous self. I hope ppl know on here who are trying to lose weight just because you lose the weight it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to go back to your previous self at all. That’s a warning.
Did you return to the physique you had pre invega?Back again. 1.4 months off 4 invega shots. (Only 2 affected me) . I’m only here again cuz I needed someone there to help me when I was going through all this shit. I’ve started working out like a mad man and lost 20 pounds in a little less than a month. I feel healthier and lighter. I can workout the same , and with the same intensity. My penis is back to 7 inches erect. Sexual functions continue to get better even though it’s already realllllly good. Maybe I’m just getting more testosterone idk. (Tmi) you guys can look at my previous posts It was a journey, I’m glad to say I’m back thanks to God. I’m nothing without him. He dug me out of so much shit including this bullshit that wiped me out for nine months. I hope this reaches and touches someone who is going through it, cuz trust me I went through this bullshit invega. Badly, wasting my life away thinking it would never end . I will continue to follow God. And I wish all you recover and find peace in life.
CB -out.
Kaatrina's story of full recovery is very well documented all throughout these threads (thank you @Kaatrina !!), so please do not tell someone who widely and very concisely talks about their full recovery that they did not recover. That is actually really disrespectful. I know you're in the depths of hell with your side effects from Invega right now, but PLEASE believe the recovery stories and have faith that you too will begin to recover soonYou did not recover fucking hell man
I am really into believing recovery stories but this is not a recovery story fucking hell man, show me some proof that you have recovered and I will be really glad to hear it! Words are just words, someone who has healed does have emotions, and just by seeing the video she posted you realize its imposible that she is healed, just based on my opinion that is no more than others opinion! I dont wanna sound disrespectful, I am just speaking facts over someone who is also speaking “facts” about her own recovery.Kaatrina's story of full recovery is very well documented all throughout these threads (thank you @Kaatrina !!), so please do not tell someone who widely and very concisely talks about their full recovery that they did not recover. The proof is the fact that she said she recovered. Recovery is a personal journey. Each person decides where they start and where they end. Obviously you haven’t recovered, but that’s no reason to attack people that have.I am really into believing recovery stories but this is not a recovery story fucking hell man, show me some proof that you have recovered and I will be really glad to hear it! In my opinion, I would like hard reality instead of fake recovery.
Invega chemically changes the way fat is distributed in the face.I never denied bloating as in fat or water retention, just the facial bone structure stuff! An MRI wouldn't show shit just like MRIs and EKGs don't show shit when you're psychotic. You did not recover fucking hell man
I bet you do an MRI and you get shit all over
The text I put is from someone that only took 2 injections of abilify, thats it… 3 years later, no recovery
Ive seen more people go on reddit than bluelight and in every invega thread there is always some dude who didn't recover for years it also got my attention.Obviously, it is really common
Those who don't recover are taking APs <edited out unnecessary comment - SMod>Ive seen more people go on reddit than bluelight and in every invega thread there is always some dude who didn't recover it also got my attention
I don’t agree! I believe it’s hereditary. Invega makes you gain weight through food cravings and some people store more fat in their face. They were like that even before invega.Invega chemically changes the way fat is distributed in the face.
its stupid to assume they're all on AP...you dont know my life story stopmaking assumptions. In one month im completely off AP i let you know how recovery goesThose who don't recover are taking APs
obviously but it works both ways i don't understand the discussion here.. alot of people recover and a certain amount don't recover and if someone points it out you get attacked and blamed for losing hopeThe proof is the fact that she said she recovered. Recovery is a personal journey. Each person decides where they start and where they end. Obviously you haven’t recovered, but that’s no reason to attack people that have.
Its just scary to see people not recover. There is a possibility you are that person and its normal to fear the worst. Instead of feeling scared or do nothing its better to think about cures. Im going to microdose daily shrooms and LSD along with all kinds of other drugs and nootropics. Nootropics expert nootropics list and megadose one ingredient every month both natural and synthetics. the problem is when people say they don't recover it doesn't mean zero recovery thats what i think when i read no recovery it means they got lasting issues or are simply not pre invegaI am really into believing recovery stories but this is not a recovery story fucking hell man, show me some proof that you have recovered and I will be really glad to hear it! Would you tell me how different you felt when 2 years passed from Invega shots? Its just scary to see people not recover. There is a possibility you are that person and its normal to fear the worst. It simply wasn't pre invega...pre invega i was happy and euphoric everyday i had really sharp memory and alot of creativity i was especially a very emotional person. Post invega Emotions are gone, happy euphoric feeling was gone and zero creativity just difficulty communicating to people.Would you tell me how different you felt when 2 years passed from Invega shots?
An MRI would show how your grey matter is less and how your brain has shrinkage, not because of you being Katrina but because these are long term effects of APs.
Assuming everyone who is not recovered is taking APs is just a reflection of how your thinking is not based on true facts but in an endless need of showing people recovery is possible. The text I sent is from someone who has only taken 2 injections of abilify (doesnt matter wich AP it is as long as im concerned) they all do the same shit! And he has been 3 years since that and still struggling to not commite suicide, I dont know what you want to address when saying he is bipolar, as bipolar people dont have any chemical in their brains making them pray for death, as long as I am concerned! Bipolar diagnoses as well as schizo are just shit labels used to medicate people, dunnow why you still think being diagnosed as any of those makes others brain different to us, in fact, you should previously ask if they have ever been medicated socthat you get a clearer understanding of their situation.
