Maybe you read a different statistic or there’s one I didn’t see. I am in no way trying to argue, but according to John Hopkins “Over the decade-long study period, taking medication did not increase the risk of deathand there was a trend towards reducing the mortality rate.” Also from ncbi.nlm.big.gov “Tiihonen et al, reported that long-term use of antipsychotics was associated with a 15–40% lower mortality than no antipsychotic use.” I don’t trust big pharma when it comes to antipsychotics, but according to these companies not all antipsychotics cause damage long term. Maybe there is evidence invega does but I can’t find any.

50% mortality rate for schizophrenics are for schizophrenics on medication they don't study people not ingesting medication

I had a similar instance. Dad fought me over a car. I defended myself. They took me to the clinic because it was his house we fought in. Got injected there.
Family doesnt believe me they all think i'm psychotic i kicked them out of my life.
The police are horrible and act as snitches for the psychiatric industrial complex i lost all respect for cops they are terrorists

What are you diagnosed with?
America health care system is fucked up.alll they care about is money
I don't have a diagnose, they shot me up with invega off label for depression in the clinic if i didn't take the shot they wouldn't let me leave

I feel the same way. My cognitive abilities have gotten better but my brain is nowhere near the same as it was pre invega. You’ll feel better soon, my abilities started to come back after 7 months.
Do you believe they can come back to pre invega? Do you know anyone who has recovered in this regard? This shit is life ruining if we can’t heal back to our pre invega selves

What does anyone else think about this?

People dont like what i say but i never returned to preinvega within 2 years post invega and not taking anything else. I only took abilify 5mg for 2 weeks around month 2 off invega to fool a blood test and it never did anything because invega is much stronger than abilify it prevents from coupling to the receptor and bumps abilify straight off the receptor. It felt like taking sugar pills.

Its life ruining i kicked all family and friends out of my life because they dont understand , i dont feel emotions anyway so there is no point in having relationships. They only gaslight me for being mentally ill even tho i dont even have a diagnose

You said there are lot of recovery stories?

Do doctors do a blood test while on a CTO to test for antipsychotics in the blood?
Normally they don't they only do it if you are known to not take medications. Just tell them its good shit and play the game.
Once a year you get a blood test if you have 1 year cto you might get tested once

You said there are lot of recovery stories
Mine is not one of them. I never said i didn't recover i recovered around 80 % 85%
I'm 100 % sure it aint the same as pre invega

I’ve got a blood test coming up, do you think I should take my meds before it just incase?

I’ve been told this blood test is only once a year, do you think it will include the medication im supposed to be taking?

Does your mind feel pre invega? Excluding emotions

It’s my birthday tomorrow!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! :cheer: I hope you had an awesome day <3

What is meant by ED here, eating disorder?
Usually in this thread ED is referring to erectile dysfunction.

Can someone post their recovery story I need hope. Thanks
There are LOTS of recovery stories in this thread and all previous 6 versions of the thread! Just sift back and have a read through. You'll find heaps <3

Does that mean i live 20 years shorter
No. It does not. There are MANY factors taken in to account with studies that apsucks referred to. Lifestyle, drug use, homelessness, diet, suicidality, other medical issues like diabetes, cancer, heart problems etc etc. The statistic that apsucks keeps posting is not accurate if you live a good, healthy lifestyle, have a good support network, have good housing, good access to medical assistance etc. So NO it does NOT automatically mean you are going to live 20 years shorter. It's a useless statistic in my opinion, one that just instills fear in to people like you who don't want to die early simply because you've taken antipsychotics. If you live a healthy life and take good care of yourself and whatever medical and psychiatric problems you may have, you will live a good, long life.

Yes...15 to 20 years
People with schizophrenia after invention of antipsychotics died around 15 to 20 years earlier than before invention of antipsychotics
Please stop spewing out this useless statistic. It only scares people, and it is not accurate. Consider this a verbal warning. If you continue to post silly statistics like this that are purely designed for fear-mongering and discouragment of everyone here who is trying to get well, you will be issued a formal warning.

Your bio says you recovered 80% to 90% then you got injected again? How
Invega gets converted into risperdal not the other way around
Risperidone (Risperdal) converts to paliperidone (Invega). I only learned that the other day :)

America health care system is fucked up.alll they care about is money
Agreed. It is abominable :(

Has anyone seen recovery stories about Invega Trinza? Thank you for reply
Yes two... one took two years and one took a year and 8 months

I’ve got a blood test coming up, do you think I should take my meds before it just incase?

Chances are they include Ap blood levels in the yearly checkup, they did it once to me but the other year they didn't they usually anounce it in advance when they're going to do it. It takes two weeks for most antipsychotics to reach therapeutic levels. No my mind didn't feel pre invega but its not like i felt bad or something.

Never complain in a way that may lead to them checking your blood levels that is what they usually do when you complain alot about persisting side effects in other words don't ask them for help

do anyone get dopamine rush when watching movies and do you think it still needs to come back?

I remember how fun it was to watch a movie and wondering if we will ever have to same experience again watching a good movie? what you guys think?
