Yes, I started feeling a little better & showing interest in things around nine months, but could definitely feel adrenaline rushes by 12 months off.
Psyclocybin and shrooms seem to be promoted in young folks' algorithms right now as a good way to relax and feel spritually connected. "Microdosing" wasn't a thing we talked about when I was a young 'un & shrooms were something we never expected to do regularly. I know someone who works in youth mental health & I've heard reports of a kid who decided to see how many caps he could take at once. This kid is permanently fried now and believes he is possessed by the devil. Just freaking avoid them, they don't do anything for you that psychosis doesn't give you already as far as a spiritual dopamine rush.
Consider learning how to cope with life in a sober fashion, like you did when you were a child. The guy who kept saying that shrooms help in recovery is the same guy that we are pretty sure just offed himself , please ignore that advice
This is totally normal. It seems like it will never go away but one day this version of you will be a distant memory and you won't struggle with these social problems anymore.
No, it doesn't cause permanent injury. Lots of people recover. Most of them either move on from this forum or have psychotic relapse and give up.
