Mental Health Coming off Invega (Paliperidone, Xeplion) injections v 6.0

Akathisia is worse as well.
Fortunately I don't have it anymore.
I feel a little impatience when waiting for the bus for example, but it's very minor, it's not even restlessness.
I think it has something to do with anhedonia.
Before the injections, I could sit and wait easily for as long as it took, but again, it's very minor it almost doesn't bothering me at all.
On the injections, I had a hellish akathisia, and I always felt like I'm rushing all the time, couldn't stand or sit still, so this is the worse side effect of them all.
Honestly, my anhedonia has improved lately, because now I can actually sit and study programming a little with my laptop, where as 1 - 2 months ago I couldn't do it almost at all...
My motivation to succeed improved a little as well.

I'd say give it another 3-4 months max 5, you should be back to your former self.
I use to take Olanzapine 10mg before the injection. Took it for 3 months when I cold quit it I got back to my old self in 3-4 weekes.
Also how many injections did you have in total?

With orals, the damage is way less critical then with injections, especially invega/Xeplion.
For me it was the same, before I received Xeplion, I took Olanzapine for almost a month and it increased my belly fat and cheeks significantly, I became very bloated.
After a month of stopping it completely, I lost all the fat I gained and went back to normal. The damage with orals is very minor.
Plus, I never had any side effects from it like I have now after being injected.
I still enjoyed my activities.
I think I'll see some improvements in the upcoming months, but sadly I don't believe I'll be back to my former self so quickly. It will take more time than that as far as I read here from other users.
I had 7 - 8 injections in total.

Oh okay you're kind on the same boat as me I had 10 injections, funny thing is I'm still on the injection my last dose was on the 16th last month I still got a long way to go to be in your shoes :D. One thing I can say is I do recover quickly from these AP's, so hopefully I'll be my former self in summer fingers crossed.

I updated my post above, I received Olanzapine/Zyprexa too, but only for almost a month.
Don't worry, it just takes a long time, that's all.

i remember on invega the anhedonia and akathesia going away at the end of month five...with abilify the anhedonia and akathesia is continues..also with invega there was heavy sedation and some anti anxiety effects abilify is restlesness at all times. It depends what you want three severe side effects which afre very intense (ablify)or dozens tenfold of side effects which are average.

i took abilify oral tabs before getting the shot and the damage of tabs is nowhere near injections
 
Between Invega and drinking too much, I wound up with depersonalization--to the point I legitimately believed I was having telepathic communications with people, as if I were seeing through their eyes, talking to them. It's been more than a half a month since my last drink. Depersonalization is beginning to fade away.

Alcohol and weed can cause depersonalization.

What I've heard is Alcohol & Weed is not a good combo.
 
I’m about 5 months off invega sustenna and I got my stamina back I can run long distances again the only thing I’m dealing with now is depression and anhedonia but it’s not as bad as before.

Give it another 5-6 months you will feel way better and probably be back to your former self. :)
 
What kind of withdrawals symptoms were you guys having once you stopped taking the injection?

Irritability, depression, anhedonia, insomnia, muscle weakness, lack of motivation, low stamina, inability too think clearly, and sexual dysfunction, all of those went away besides depression and anhedonia, I still occasionally get insomnia and irritability but not all the time.
 
What if I'll never fully recover?
What if my sexual function will never return and pleasures from life wont return?
What if I get stuck with that same damaged brain for life?

As of right now, life isn't worth living after the injections.

You’re going too be fine just hang in there you had 7-8 shots so it may take a year + too recover but you got 50 or so years left in life you may be at your darkest hour but night don’t last forever there’s a morning coming in your life the brain has an amazing ability too heal it’s self 2 weeks ago I was suicidal now I’m doing much better life is worth living.

Isnt these symptoms same as you were taking the injection cause I'm having these symptoms while on Invega, so I'm just thinking what difference is it going to make with the symptoms while im off the injection

The withdrawals for me weren’t as intense cause I only took the two loading doses but I took the paliparadone pill for 2 weeks a month after my first injection stopped cold turkey and I noticed depression got worse then while on paliparadone at first but then a month later I felt less depressed then at about 4 months off I started getting withdrawals from the injection muscle weakness got worse depression, lack of motivation, and anhedonia got worse but at the same time sexual function came back now recently the withdrawals have decreased.
