Everyone needs to remember that the only safe way to stop meds is a long taper under doctor supervision. Telling someone to quit meds cold turkey is considered dangerous advice and will be infracted after repeated offenses.

Quitting psych meds cold turkey can cause brain zaps, dyskinesia, sudden onset of symptoms, etc. I recommend everyone review the Dark Side Posting Rules for reference. Thanks

FYI- you aren't supposed to "feel" psych meds, they're not street drugs. If you don't feel better or worse but also haven't had symptom relapse for 20 months, then I'd say they are working as prescribed.

I've been on 200mg of Lamictal for a year and have no side effects and also no symptoms. It could just as easily be a sugar pill or placebo but I know it's not, just that I have no effects from it good or bad other than not having symptoms.
 
I tried to study programming today and I discovered that I have the patience to do so and I actually was able to concentrate and understand the video tutorials.

Definitely an improvement, because before, like a week or more ago, I couldn't even imagine myself having the patience to sit down and study.

I hope it's not a temporary healing window, but actually an improvement.

I'm glad to say that anhedonia is improving and also my motivation have increased.

My bad about before just straight up saying get off your meds. Lemme rephrase it the reason you may not be recovered yet could be the seroquel a lot of people report similiar side effects to invega on seroquel. My suggestion would be go to your doctor and see weather or not you still need to be on APS and if he thinks it’s okay start the tapering process and potentially get off of them, If not maybe switch meds I remember paranoid Android saying he had no side effects on latuda.

i found seroquel to be a glorified antihistamine it did nothing for me. Also when my mom was psychotic i gave her like 600mg's of that shit and it did not help at all. And ya i get no side effects from latuda whatsoever. Except maybe not being able to trip but we will see about that

If you can feel coke you’ll probably be able too trip, When I’m 8-9 months off ima try shrooms and LSD.

Valium tapering could be messing with him too. If you are going to do psychedelics I recommend having a plan in place for not getting injected with invega again, seems people are on the carousel forever once that happens

I took psychedelics many times in the past before with no issues they always helped with my depression I never had psychosis till I started taking kratom and didn’t sleep for 5 days.

Ya i can feel coke. i had a fucking seizure from shooting over a 1/3rd of a gram of coke like 2 years ago. Almost exactly 2 years ago as it was the same day juice wrld died actually which is weird. As soon as i got out of the er i shot up another huge shot and had another mini seizure. But coke affects dopamine not serotonin so im just wondering if i could trip. But ya didnt seem to dull the coke at all.

Damnnn that’s crazy rip too juice how did you end up with psychosis though? Was it drug induced latuda might interfere with tripping cause it blocks the serotonin receptor that makes you trip you think you still need to be on latuda?

No it was not drug induced. i actually had cotards syndrome which is some fucked shit google it. And ya i know it might block the trip. I dunno if i still need to be on latuda cause im doing great these days but i really dont want to risk getting cotards syndrome again fuck that shit

Oh believe me psychosis is very real I took 34 grams of kratom per day and quit cold turkey cause of that I didn’t sleep for 5 days and went into psychosis I’ll try to recall my psychosis the best possible but it’s very foggy since I barely slept for 3 weeks, I remember I was super paranoid thinking the cartels, police, and doctors were tryna kill me, I thought that I was multiple people and people I’d see on tv were me from the future, I thought that everything I did in grand theft auto I did in real life. There’s more too it but it’s very foggy.

Damn bruh cotards syndrome sounds fucked I kinda felt something similiar in my psychosis I felt like I was bleeding internally.
