Benzos Combo Xanax + beer + a cigarette.

Dear BL Fam,

I have done many years ago, and am starting up again a Xanax + 1 beer + 1 cigarette as a very pleasant combo to relax which comes with energy, motivation, calmness, mild euphoria.
I am aware of the disclaimers around benzos and alcohol, however I just stay home and am not out, and definitely not driving vehicle.
Why have I gotten so much pleasure from this particular combo, and anyone else like this combo? I personally have a sensitive nervous system overall.

I’m a big fan if that combo as well. And it seems like a pretty small dosage, depending on the mg of the Xanax. Lucky to be able to keep it to that. Sounds like you’ve got a good grip on it.

Nothing inherently wrong with combining 1 beer with benzos.

But sure. Tobacco smoke causes CYP inhibition leading to higher plasma levels of alprazolam. Alprazolam releases dopamine and increases the dopamine released by alcohol. Alcohol and cigarettes go hand in hand. All three technically potentiate each other in a trifecta sort of way.

I will say that alcohol + benzos if abused regularly will very quickly downregulate your GABA system, but again I'm talking about multiple drinks. I don't see any problem with what you are doing.
 
I’m a big fan of that combo as well !
But no more than one beer kinda thing th best is that one beer along with the cigarette more and it starts go downhill and the euphoria goes away
 
Also, just thought I would mention since this combo is being a little too casually glorified for a HR thread, that literally all of my arrests and most ridiculous or embarrassing moments in life are due to this combo.

The dangerous part of this combo is how it completely annihilates any semblance of inhibition you have. You will almost certainly do something dangerous, illegal and/or regrettable if you abuse this combo and get drunk instead of just 1.

None of it is really that interesting enough to elaborate on, other than just summing it up as me making idiotic decisions and/or looking like a fool.

The combo tends to turn me into a kleptomaniac. I am banned from every Walmart in the US after stealing over $12,000 in Magic the Gathering cards in the DFW area of Texas while on that combo. And I didn't even catch a charge for that one, partly because it also makes me a smooth talker.

I actually threatened to sue Walmart in the end, because when they tried to make me sign their tablet to enter their predatory anti-theft class, I pretended it wasn't working and handed it to them, said "You sign for me", and they did... which is fraud, rofl.

If you get caught stealing from Walmart they say, "either we call the police, or, you sign up for this class which costs $500." They own that "educational program", they created it themselves. Its borderline extortion... never got charged and never went to that dumbass shit. I won lol. But walmart will trespass me.
 
Although the main reason I didn't catch a charge is the AP lead didn't get the memo of how I was BOLO from hitting all the other stores. Dumbass. If he did they would have called the police not offer me the tablet.

Thank you for explaining the reasoning behind why all three felt enhanced for me, where the whole is experienced as greater than its individual parts.
I have my eyes open around what could seem like regular use where my GABA receptors could downregulate.

Honestly bro alcohol and xans sucks. In the past when I went out I always did xans, sometimes I drank alcohol but it resulted in blackouts almost every time and quickly. Now I consciously try to avoid alcohol fully, when I go clubbing (tonight finally again after a year) I only take xans and sometimes I smoke weed too I gotta really avoid alcohol I don’t want shit to go sideways and embarrass myself because of shitty alcohol. Xans don‘t cause me to get weird but alcohol does. Everyone is different though. I also vape (especially after xans), I always do them sublingual. (Better BA, stronger effects and lasts the same time as oral) and because of that after a while i always have that slightly (not disgusting) bitter taste of xans that washes away when I vape. I also find nicotine right as the xans come up is intensified and very pleasant. I really wanna stop nicotine though.
