combinations with prednisone, HELP!

Hello all,
My mom has recently begun getting horrible muscle spasms in her legs when she is trying to goto sleep. She has recently been put on Prednisone, and wonders if that is the culprit. She is also on:
Meloxicam 7.5 mg
Maxzide 75 mg
Lyrica 75 mg
plus of course the Prednisone 5 mg

Does anyone know what might be causing the problems for her?

Yes, she should call her doctor. Muscle spasms are a sign of a problem.

Prednisone has been known to cause (rarely, however) leg pains and cramps, so it may be that or it may be something totally unrelated.

I think she should go see her doctor and tell him/her about it and see what the doctor says.

If it's too troublesome and she cannot wait for an appointment then she can always go to the ER.
