Would this be a safe combination?

I was planning on taking one 4mg Tizanidine, one 0.5mg clonazepam, and 50mg of diphenhydramine. How safe is this combination and what would the effects be?

Yes, it is safe. But that depends on your tolerance and if you've taken these things before, the diphenhydramine, not so much, but the tizanidine especially. Tizanidine can cause profound hypotension and sedation in as little as 1mg so if you're not used to it - especially at dosages > or = 4mg, I would not recommend combining it with anything, let alone something like clonazepam. You don't want to be fainting every time you stand up...

The effects would most likely just be sedation and relaxation. Both tizanidine and clonazepam are very effective muscle relaxants, and diphenhydramine possesses muscle relaxant effects on its own, being an anticholinergic. Both clonazepam and diphenhydramine can mess with your memory. But its unlikely at those dosages. Especially if you have tolerance.
