Combination

Hello,

I came here to ask if it is dangerous to combine redomex (Amitriptyline), an anti depressant with mdma, and if it is, how long I should stop taking the AD's before rolling.

An answer would be very welcomed,

I wasn't sure if the AD was an ssri to begin with, hence my uncertainty, but i'll have a read. If anyone can form a concrete anwer though, it would be appreciated, I'll lurk around some more on my own in the meantime.

It's worth to mention I'm taking 20mg/day atm, and am aware that the halflife of redomex is anywhere between 10-50h hours.

If your depressed and needing medication, stopping them and taking MDMA is just going to make your problems worse.

Amitriptaline isnt a SSRI its a tricyclic antidepresant - still not something you want to be taken with MDMA. IF you going to do it anyway then try and come off your amitriptaline a few days prior to rolling.

Thanks for the advice, an it's not for the depression I got it prescribed but to help me eat and sleep again after going to some troubled times.

I did mdma between the troubled times and getting the AD's and I was just fine, I normally don't get the dreaded depression due to serotine depletion the days after taking mdma.

Then again, docters have said I react odd to medication
