Combatting Low Libido from Opiates?

For the last few years I’ve been on opiates daily I’ve struggled getting/maintain erections. Initially it wasn’t an issue because I wasn’t healthy enough for sexual intercourse. However, now I am and things are rather embarrassing. I know the simple solution would be to stop doing opiates. Let’s not kid ourselves though: everything could benefit from ending our addictions. So my question is, do you have any suggestions to help libido? I’m open to taking libido/testosterone supplements, but I genuinely know next to nothing since they seem fake or an attempt to scam the customer. Thanks in advance!

I'm also on opiates and while I can't support steroids in the name of harm reduction, they allow me to continue using opiates and have pretty decent sex as well.

but injectable steroids come with lots of side effects and unless you really research and know what you're getting yourself into I can't say I'd advise it.

If you can work out, and continue to research things like testosterone boosters this I believe would be your best bet.

Also things like viagra could possibly be a temporary fix, but I know your struggles.

Some natural supplements if you take over time may also help: I'd recommend Ginkgo B., Maca Root, Red Ginseng. Also look into Mucien Pruriens - but for these only take them before having sex, not daily. They can cause side effects long term.

Best luck

Thank you! Any particular testosterone booster you recommend?

Viagra would be the obvious answer. It will help you get it up if that's the issue, but it doesn't actually increase your sex drive like many people think.

The testosterone prescription idea isn't actually half bad especially if you get your opiates scripted, docs know low t is a very common side effect of opiates and may well be willing to treat it.

Just so you know, lowered testosterone levels are the reason opiates lower your sex drive in the first place, so you would be directly treating the cause of the problem this way.

I actually agree with all the comments about trying to get a testosterone script. It will change your life. Some testosterone supplements are even gel or pill form, so you wouldn't even need to learn how to IM inject yourself.. (which isn't that hard or dangerous if you know what you're doing anyways).

I remember my first cycle on testosterone my sex drive was out of this world. Feel bad for your girlfriend or girl you see if you get some 😂

Did you get it because of your low test levels or just to enhance your muscle growth?

What's your age?

It could be independent of the opiate's you know. Have you tried Basilicum. It def used to have an amazing effect on my erection´ s. Garlic had the opposit effect, it weakend erection's ime.

Im prescribed Test cyp injections because of low test levels from messing up my endocrine system after years of PED use. And never have had an issue again since then. Im also a daily opiate user but think my decrease of sex drive was more influenced by low test and the opiates on top of it just made it worse.

So you can go to a doc and get bloods done and maybe be scripted test cyp or nebido but nebido doesnt keep stable blood levels and then can cause other estrogenic sides too that can lower libido again.

As for otc test booster, i believe most to be bunk or not worth the money to get an actual increase.
Yohimbe will also increase libido and make you more horny.

Then stuff like cialis and viagra can also work or help but is only a temporary fix.

So there are a lot of variables and options.

My libido is down to zero.

And I am not even using opioid's, the lack of stimulation, my age and abuse of Alcohol and Benzo's could all be playing a role.

Any natural solution's available that can cure that?

There is a herb that is known to give good results, just can't come up with the name.

If all the above mentioned things are the reason, then get bloods and go on trt. Don't have any exp with Tongkat Ali, sorry.

I never got my levels checked but based off my symptoms and my size for my age (was 135 pounds senior year of high school) and 130 at 22 years old after being on suboxone...

I mainly did it for gaining muscle, and working out, but it helped with all my other depression and what not.

Now I'm 26, 170 pounds at 5'6 and overall look way healthier and strong

Honest to god, if you're a 24/7 user of Opioids, Viagra is not a crazy idea. Really, you can get it mailed to you by seeing a doctor on skype

I found that I eventually became tolerant to the "low libido" side-effects over time and my sex drive essentially returned to normal. Granted it did take a long time lol. If needs must then u could take a potent aphrodisiac like Cocaine during the interim. MDMA has strong aphrodisiac / empathogenic effects as well but good luck getting a hard on lol, u could take Viagra to mitigate this.

Is Katom the exception, or an individual response of mine, 24/7 Kratom had no supressing of sex drive. The conrtary it raised it,

same for MDMA no noted erection inpairement, like wise Aphetamine's.

Sober that is were my trouble's start. In mentioned it allready: Lack of stimulation (alone), my age and abuse of Alcohol and Benzo's could all be playing a role.
