I'll think about re-opening the thread and just removing certain posts but there really wasn't much discussion being generated aside from the sidetracking that got it closed. I don't think it's any great loss but if FG or anybody else feels strongly about it a clean-up and re-opening is quite possible. I just don't think it's especially warranted or worthwhile in this instance. The potential negatives outweigh the potential positives. As ever, my PM box is open if anybody feels differently <3

Oh s*** I'm extremely sorry, I really didn't realise it was considered bad form. Thanks for telling me. I'll most definitely E-mail in future. I'm so dreadfully sorry. I honestly, didn't mean to offend you in any way. I was just worried that FG may be upset that he had created a thread for it to be closed, n to be honest, it was my fault for bring up the disagreement to Alasdair's post, using the AS example. I'm terribly sorry and won't do it again.

....on a light-hearted note, I've un-igged the great-Dan lol.
You should all go to the poetry section n see his stuff, he ain't bad.
I'm not mad at anyone for long, lol, n I really didn't have an issue with Dan. It was more a case if protecting me from going off on one over something silly, that's all. So please all be rest assured you're great Dan off off the IG button :)

This is what we like to see - more of this from anybody else feuding over nothing by all means. So much better being civil about things then being so upset at people the Ignore button has to be involved.

Good for you, Evey. I'll hold my breath for the proposal but nice to see some sensible and civil behaviour - and in EADD of all places 8o

It's ok. A member of staff told me that you did the same with them n that it was nothing personal. I've never had an issue with you - I ignored you n raas for my own personal reasons - because I react to personally to stuff n it stopped any negativity on the forum. That's all, I do it with everyone at times.
Still, good to know you're so popular lol

I certainly do but been even longer since I did any of those. Don't seem to have the appetite for it these days. Many a fine hour (day, week) was passed with a dozen tabs open to a dozen different dictionaries and thesauruses and much fun was had. Knock was the last person to do a proper oldskool peevpost. They seem to have gone out of fashion. Is a shame cos was always one of the peev threads more endearing features for me - so distinctive and ticklesome. Dripping with borderline psychosis but of the fun sort. Before psychosis was a Bad Thing. I've not even attempted one in ages - not sure why, I seem to get distracted by other things far sooner and more completely than I used to - and won't be attempting one anytime too soon due to peev sabbatical. They were a lotta fun to do even if the countless hours of faffing weren't always appreciated as the Art they so clearly are :D

I do recall writing a peev-poem about Spade one time - complete with proper M.D.P.V. wordage. Suspect it was more amusing in unrecalled-specifics hindsight than enough to make me want to actually dig it up though. Some things best left buried. But I'll bear it in mind if/when I next indulge whenever that may be - not planning on it in the immediate though. But will never say never cos that would be lying.

Who was meant to receive it?

I've not received any PM.

When I applied for mod, there was errors so i only sent my app to Bronson because I was fiddling about trying to work out what was causing the E-mail to class with the extra security n it was the semi-colons because when i ommited them, the E-mail/PM was sent.

Anyway Please can you tell me what this pm is n who was meant to receive it? I've not received any PMs.

Peev posts are the work of the devil. So much invaluable sexytime is lost to online thesauruses and broken trains of thought.
 
Hey, who keeps messing with my thread. I appreciate Dan but he's not a lovely lovely man. More of an alright guy who takes too many drugs.

Hmmm. So what's the difference between an almond slice and a bakewell tart? Lack of icing? I'm not sure I approve.
