ColtDan Is More Of An Alright Guy Who Takes Too Many Drugs Appreciation Thread

i dont think you get diabetes from eating too many sweets... i think your teeth fall out first anyway...

Oxy would make me wanna binge eat on cake and various shit sometimes. thats if i wasnt feeling sick

heh, is that why you switched over to stims? :P for the anorexia?

hell i get munchies from hell when on any noid or weed product...

Im no doctor or even a medical student but i would be consuming about 3,000 calories in chocolates throughout the night as i kept waking up ravenously hungry. This was especially pronounced when i first started taking mirtazapine. I think it fucks up your blood glucose levels, by having such extreme things going on with all those chocolates, and if you keep doing that day after day for week upon week, month upon month i have no doubt it wont be any good for you. My memory is a bit hazy as to which opis caused similar munchies, but i think it was poppy pods IIRC.

maybe it was the chocolates themselves too that caused the hunger.... remember that refined sugars are no good at keeping you satiated and once you eat one you ll be hungry if not hungrier in an hour or so...
i used to eat a lot of chocolates and sodas when i studied for the university and i kept having to eat a few every half hour....

ideas is, if hungry dont eat sweets but try to get some protein in there.

Opis used to make me put on weight as well, binge eating

Codeine does same to me, usually. Only once the most noticeable effects are wearing off, tho.

Basically all drugs make me want to eat to be honest, except stims. I think I just like eating.

Haha nah, always been a booze and stims person. stims my fave. vallies. ket and physcs. had a lil mess around with oxy on and off for a year, once every 2 weeks or whatever. Never been a massive fan of it tbh. dont enjoy nodding, i like that stimulating bit before. nodding gets annoying and feels weird

Within reason yeah my self control aint bad. although weekend use of meph got a grip on me and burnt me out for years. couldnt leave the stuff alone. plus regularly ive been doing stims too often. which aint really a problem, speed and 4f doesnt make me feel too bad after, love the stuff n feels a lot less heavy on my body than drinking or whatever would be. however, the benzo useage to get me to sleep may end up a problem, i need to keep an eye on that. seriously do not want some rebound again, etiz rebound was bad enough and that was only about 7 days of doing in low amounts every day. if i stagger benzos and etiz i may be alright, for a lil while

The only clever things DJ ever achieved was somehow getting credit for tunes that someone else is singing. I'm looking at you mark Ronson.

Bit unfair. If person can sing, a la Amy, then maybe. If person can't sing, then all hail the producer.

Djs can certainly fuck off and die though, right enough there.

Name one rock producer who puts their name front and centre on a release. I bet they still twiddled more knobs than the guy with a USB connected to his mac book pro

Guitar playing (or 'real' instruments) isn't dead so keep it up dan - these things come in cycles and i'm pretty sure djing will seem as anachronistic as gerry and the pacemakers pretty soon (it does to some already). I work with young people and music and notice trends in musical tastes over time - 5 years ago it was all about dubstep/house/hip hop - at the moment it's mostly rock metal and guitar based stuff that the younguns want to make, so that's where music tastes are going surely.

Computer music technology in itself is getting more and more about performance and ways to interact with the music, as opposed to 'producing' (whatever that means - using a mouse largely) - skills of improvising with music will always be useful regardless of the technology.

(oh and i like you too dan :))

Cheers :) i love pretty much all music, been raving for years, massively into hp hop, put some hip hop mashups together and stuff, dunno about djs fucking off and dieing lol
