Colorado unveils new pot vending machines known as Zazz

RESIDENTS with a medical marijuana card will be able to buy pot directly from new vending machines, after Colorado legalised the drug.
The state's first high-tech marijuana vending machine was unveiled in Eagle County by the pot growing company American Green.

Known as the Zazz, the machine will dispense edible marijuana products. The machine is only available to medical marijuana patients, who can access it using a valid medical marijuana card and their ID, the local Fox network reported.
American Green calls it "an automated, age-verifying, climate-controlled marijuana dispensing machine."


The company said the vending machines would be installed only on the premises of licensed marijuana sellers and not in any public places.

Chemicals are chemicals in most terms when consumed so I'm fairly sure the law would support that, but who knows. I don't like how touchy their being though, I mean who cares if it's on public property if it's only for valid medical patients only(besides for regulations or zoning.....I feel like they said it to make people feel..."safer"?). That would be like only allowing phamaracies at certain places. I suppose it's not surprising given what a tricky mine field even medical MJ is let alone legal.

Many underage people were buying alcohol (of course!), so they tried to institute a system where you scan your ID card. But it failed (so I heard).
However, there are almost no alcohol vending machines to be found, nowadays, apart from in hotels.
 
You know the future is here when Conan O'Brian jokes about it on his Comedy Show! He joked that sales from those machines around that one suddenly went UP! Those Munchie Jokes never get old... It wouldn't be funny if it weren't so True! It is a demonstrable physiological effect!
 
Wasn't there a vending machine for prostitutes in Japan? I'm not sure how that would work but it I'm sure the Yakuza would find a way.
 
You wouldn't believe the number of (mostly older) people who are ranting about "the end of the world: Biblical Armageddon" and are referencing this story.

Oh my, a vending machine selling THC-laced edibles? Shirley you can't be serious?!

When I was in Japan like 4 years ago there were only alcohol vending machines in hotels but there were cigarette vending machines still on the street, you still needed the ID though
