SO I moved to Greeley Colorado about a year ago, and other than my family, I literally only know ONE person, and he's the the type of guy you only talk to once every few days for about a minute or two if you know what I mean. I have PTSD from a negative police interaction, so I have been afraid to leave the house. My only income comes from the property manager hiring me for random tasks around the property, the money from which is spoken for on my medications so I don't have the money it takes to just go hang out somewhere and meet people.
In the past (years and years ago), I would just go through myspace profiles (yes, it has been a long time since this was a problem that concerned me) looking for people that sounded cool and friend requesting them, but the landscape of the internet is much different these days, and much less open and friendly.
Which brings me to two questions I'd like to ask:
1. I'm pretty anti-social (meaning i don't socialize much and additionally the psychological definition of I don't hold the same ideals, beliefs or values that my culture does as a whole) and not an "activity" person, as you may have gleaned from my lack of leaving the house, so does anyone know a website where one could meet new people who don't do normal activities?
2. If it's allowed: is there anyone here from my region that would like to online hang out and if it seems like a good idea eventually come to my place IRL to hang out?

Things I do and like include:
I program video games for fun
I do digital art, in pixelart style and my own amalgamated style
I love video games(obviously), but generally prefer watching people play and discussing them these days rather than playing them myself I do have a special PC hooked up that emulates most 8th gen and earlier consoles and a massive game library for it, for what it's worth. I use xbox 360 controllers because they're so adaptable.
I enjoy discussing anything from the perspective that any musing or philosophizing is academic and therefore not to be taken as an affront to one's personal beliefs
I enjoy drug (but that does not imply that I possess or use any illegal or illegally obtained substance at all), but that should be obvious, and the nature or degree of my enjoyment or yours is something I would not like to discuss for reasons of comfortability in trying to make friends with strangers online, and the potential legal issues surrounding. Although seeing as how weed is legal here in Colorado I have no problem saying I do very much like weed (but haven't smoked in months, it interferes with other things I enjoy, and so don't like to get too sleepy).
Into all sorts of music, and have many dozens of Spotify playlists of everything a person could enjoy.
I extract and refine gold from scrap in the summer, when it's warm enough for the chemicals to work properly outside,
I also do a lot of scrapping in the summer because you never know what you'll find, including the random odd baggie of whatever (which is like winning the lottery!)
I watch TONS of YouTube and am currently in the process of setting up the infrastructure of starting a new gaming related channel on youtube, for any locals who might want to join inas a guest or apply to be a co-host the two shows currently in production are a retrospective show reviewing any game deemed worth playing , during each episode simultaneously crafting some object, character, or other item from the game in whatever medium seems appropriate (I mainly crochet), and the other show, which is a non-review show discussing the looks and feel of games that have some therapeutic value from the perspective of the one talking about the game

So there it is, and It may not be complete or tell you everything I'm trying to express in this post, but I've been without cash the last week and so my mind is foggy and I sleep and eat a lot, increasing the foggy head feeling, so I forget things. Anyone have any suggestions or answers or maybe anyone want to talk to me on FB or any IM program or text I'm down.
(PS I don't give my age or gender because that should really be irrelevant, suffice to say I'm over 21 and in my early 20s for a while my nickname was "Old Man" because I hung out largely with the elderly [scientists, pharmacists, bikers, engineers and priests, an eclectic bunch to be sure])
