Every test I've done with Marquis has always started by showing a shade of orange/brown, but then goes to dark purple quickly. Sometimes once it has turned purple, I can still see streaks of orange/brown. Sometimes not. I have yet to test a single pill around here that did not have orangish color at first. And has been my experience that the faster it turned purple, the better the roll was. The slower it turned to purple, the weaker the roll was. I had one pill that took a good 30 seconds or more to turn purple. I did not buy those, but a friend did and reported back to me that they were extremely weak, requiring multiple tabs to get a small roll, and the next day he had really bad stomach cramps most of the day.

anyway... is the orange turning to purple color pattern telling me that the pills contain both MDxx AND meth?

More than likely, yes. Orange/brown color patterns are usually indicative of amphetamines when using Marquis reagent.

So pretty much everything around here in adulterated to some extent :p Is my assumption that the faster it turns purple is (somewhat) of an indicator of how much MDxx is in it?

Well, I would not guarantee such a thing, but "generally" the faster it turns purple, the more MDxx content it contains over the other (unwanted) ingredients. Determining how much MDxx is in your pill can only be done by GC/MS.

If you ever find a roll that turns purple instantly with no orange let me know haha. Just kidding but keep those. Those are the absolute best. Having a non adultered pill is pretty rare no a days. Even the famous incredibles are starting to be meth filled. It could be a reprint by an imitator. But either way. Non adultered pills are extremely rare.

Upon 90% of my marquis testing orange and brown are the consistent colors. Once in a great while youll find a clean pill without meth in it.

Goodluck in your searches!
